Terrys not crazy. He’s sane. He’s a businessman that enjoys competition. It’s that Damn Larusso who is the real bully. He can’t stand to see those from his past succeed. So he destroys them by attacking their lively hood. He goes after their Dojo. He did it to Lawrence, Kreese, and now to Terry. Daniel is a car salesman. That’s his trade. He’s not a Karate teacher. He’s a bully who likes to plays the victim. He’s the menace who took away the opportunity for hundred of the valleys youth to receive free to low cost Karate classes.

"n the third episode, he has a PTSD episode triggered by the culinary torch being used on his creme brulee. He then says he is going to skip breakfast, and the way the hired help reflexively asks if he should call the doctor makes me think his physical health is being closely monitored." It would also give more reason why a millionaire or billionaire would be so easily dragged into the karate turf wars, maybe he wanted give some meaning to his life in the end.

I thought the same thing. Me and my brother were talking about this earlier. Silver being terminally ill would of been an great twist . Season was good but writes miss some even great opportunities to make it the greatest.

Yes, the writers were showing us that Terrence was already on his way out. They never revealed the health issue, but it was all but stated. Maybe next season they'll delve more into it, but honestly, this season seems like a real nice wrap to the entire franchise. The only thing that was missing was a Mr. Myagi voice over when Daniel kicked the snot out of Silver. That would have been awesome to hear: "Good job, Danielsan."

Being able to easily post bail and having a DA in your pocket makes it hard to be in a jail cell for longer than 24 hours.

It depends on storyline, if they are directly going ahead with Sekai tekai tournament then season 6 would be the end. But, if they have to bring back Silver and Kreese has new storyline and rebuild of cobra kai is done too then they would need one more season. Season 6 can be used for all the legal battles and recovery of things. They need to setup new rivalries to Miyagi Fang too, as of now they have all the champions and runner ups from last two all valley tournaments assuming Devon and Tory joining Fang or Miyagi do. Since they have to go as one dojo, new name would be needed too. So there is alot to rebuild, it would be rushed if they have to do all these and tournament too. So better to set things up in season 6 and have a huge tournament in season 7. First half of season 7 can be the training and strategies and 5 episodes for matches. Not only that, they need to figure out the back to school life for many of them. Which would be done in season 6.

Pretty sure they said at some point that S6 will be the last at. Hopefully we get a spin off of Johnny Lawrence driving Ubers

@@premsaik828 I wouldn't be surprised if Netflix really push them to carry it on considering they're running short on quality exclusive shows these days. I think they'll end the show but start another series, I think a prequel about Kim Sun Yung training soldiers in Okinawa will be a good way to go.

The show will likely go beyond S6 to probably S7 (maybe S8). Still have characters from NKK, mystery of Johnny’s father, Tory’s father, whether Miguel’s father comes back, kreese/silver, world tournament, kids graduating high school, Kenny/Shawn story, and more. I think there is easily enough to fill at least 2 more seasons.

Not to mention: A. Johnny had a criminal record BEFORE season 1 of CK, and only added to it after Miguel's fall at the end of S2. B. In S4, Johnny broke into the (former) CK dojo in Reseda, and Silver WATCHED him as he did before calling him. So it's likely he recorded the incident BEFORE calling to "invite" him to the old Dojo".

It was actually stupid how they wrote the finale don't get me wronggreat to watch but . Daniel, Johnny, chosen and robby etc will all be in touble with the law because they where trespassing and some caused criminal damage. In short there's no season 6 coming and the writers knew it before season 5 came out they just keep telling the fans what they wanted to hear. They're now moving on to big and bigger things in there eyes .

He probably won't be off the hook completely. Breaking out of prison, assaulting the guards and who knows what he'll pull next. I can only imagine a fall for him, which ends with killing Silver out of revenge and Daniel and Johnny have to stop him. But it ends up too late. Maybe Kreese isn't all gone though and someone (Maybe Tory) tells him to start taking control of his life. Kreese therefore turns himself in, and admits to Johnny he was wrong.

Thats what I think is coming! They both have nothing left and at the end of their lives.. Silver already established he wants to die in battle. Its probably the same for Kreese. And there is certainly no good ending for him other then justice/peace because he broke out so he is committed to ending this! I think they did a double fake on us.. Made us think he was changing but had been planning to escape the entire time. But that in fact in those scenes where he kept seeing them (Johnny as a kid and then current) etc and making light of mercy, the crying etc he has no regrets etc that in fact he does!ll I think he realized he needs it to end where it all started. Silver corrupting him as kids. I think the final fights them to the death, with some closure for Johnny and him and some wrap up with Dani. He hated them because they reminded him how he used to be before Silver. He hated Dani all the more because he was lit like him. And they have been running those flash backs showing that evolution (when they never had to) the entire show. He's essential his entire life been playing out his corruption and battle that he let silver do to him through Johnny and Dani, its why he was so invested in them. I think he's made peace with the fact Vader needs to take out the Emperor if you will. I do not think he is looking for apologies. But peace of mind which will be enough. Im kind of thinking he will die protecting Johnny from silver for the baby's sake or something. But he needs to be the one who kills Silver because silver has been corrupting and using him his entire life. I wish If it were my way (because Silver won't beg for mercy he's ready to die..) that he will try to get Kreese to finish him, No mercy etc! And that finally Kreese will be free himself of the whole no mercy! What a prefect time to play the the flashbacks of Miyagi sparing him and then Daniel sparring him when he hurt Johnny and Miguel! And a way to let Miyagis touch heal wounds even when hes gone! However since people need that not so obvious perfect endings (which a Karate Kid should have!) That Kreese will finally understand! But Silver will force his hand and because Kreese is a real warrior he will basically drag the demon back to hell with him kind of thing.

Nah, Kreese is a two face and a snake, the war really made him the person he is today so there's no turning back

We have alot of villains floating around, besides Silver and Kreese. There's Kim of course, but forget about Miguel's Dad...I don't think we've seen the last of him. One moment of hid curiosity about Miguel, could lead him to Googling Karate tournements in California, to Miguel, then Miguel's social media sites, and "boom", a pic of Carmen.

Daniel was drunk, he'd been recently beaten up by Silver received blows by Chozen and Barnes. Also, it was in the script that Silver would lose his second fight with Daniel.

Well it’s only a single TV show so for every new season he makes a bunch of videos and then a few for the news. Then the channels kind of dead until the new season comes out. It’s not like Star Wars where there’s constantly something new.

It did feel that way I agree. The only way they can make a season 6 practicable is to bring in swank and Ironside. Terry silver and John kresse are too far gone and it would be just extremely far fetched to have them return as the cobra Kai dojo in any capacity again. Season 6 definitely needs to be the last as it will become like flogging a dead horse for the franchise.

They could make a season 6 with the kids dealing with the fallout of the dojo war and have an all valley but there wouldn’t be any cobra Kai dojo or terry silver and the sensais wouldn’t do much

@@rodeocowboy23 the writers have made S1-5 amazing, they aren’t your typical writers who will just fall off. It’s very unlikely S6 is the last, and that doesn’t mean S7 has to suck. Have more faith in them. There is plenty to do. And Kreese has something planned, even if it’s not dojo related.

@@johnnyfuture3524 I wasn’t satisfied with the ending of season 5. It didn’t do much for me. They just end on a cliffhanger. I was actually shocked that there was a season 6 because I didn’t really want the show to end with so many unfinished things. What’s unfinished might you ask? The teikai seikai world tournament that miyagi do and cobra kai are entered in, how terry silver is going to leave jail (because if kreese can terry can), what Kim da eum will do now that she has power over cobra kai, John kreese redemption arc, robby and Kenny’s relationship, Carmen and Johnny’s baby, Chozen recovering from his injury, Barnes regrowing his furniture store with the help of Daniels resources, Miguel and sams future together, kyler apologizing to everyone he bullied and probably a lot more. The next season still has all these things to build from, and we didn’t get that much of an emotional grand ending that we need for the show. For the season, the ending was good but for the show the ending was not that grand. Miguel, Robby and hawk can also have more screen time together working as a team and I’m sure at the end of season 6 every rivalry in the show will be put to an end and everyone will be friends. All rivalries between the kids, the adults, between cobra kai and miyagi do would make that the truly grand ending for the show.

Also, I don’t think he really cares about the Valley. He told Daniel that just thinking of the Valley is small minded. Terry’s ego is gonna take a beating if the whole world knows how he really is.

I like how Barnes is the most out of practice but he's probably the strongest physically and most athletic that he held his own in fights.

@@c.p.scorner4251 Daniel was trained by Chozen and learned some special secrets that normally are only for members of the Miyagi clan. He cross trained with Johnny both learning cobra kai techniques from him and teaching Johnny some of his own. Maybe he should learn some stuff from Mike and also teach Mike some Miyagi Do. Mike probably has a 3rd style that is different from Cobra and Miyagi and Daniel might become the only (or one of a VERY FEW) who have trained in all three styles, making him a very well rounded martial artist.

I hope this is the direction the writers go because all of the things that you mentioned didn’t sit well with me in season 5. The random breaking/entering and assault at the end, no explanation for the furniture store, and it seems like all is forgiven because of Stingray’s confession…

not really. again confirmation that he commited fraud. Kreese shoudln't been in jail in the first place so a deep look into corruption in the valley is prudent.

What can Kreese even do as a wanted fugitive? Who is there left to teach? This looked a lot like the final season to me. Not sure what season 6 can consist of. Besides chozen kumiko getting together.

However, if Tory has medical records for her hand after it was broken (by Silver and Kim making her punch solid stone), and Silver recorded it and footage was found, he'd have a count for endangering a minor. And for all the (now former) students of CK that bullied non-CK Martial Art students, he could definitely face some "corruption of Minors" charges, and some "Organization of terroristic actions" which aren't so easy to pay off.

Yep, it could look bad for Silver. I am happy that Stingray revealed that he didn't betray Kreese just to be an "honorable member" of Cobra Kai or to keep the money and the stuff he got, but out of (the legitimate) fear of getting killed by Silver if he didn't agree. I really thought that even after getting beaten up he was still Cobra Kai starstruck and happily agreeing to Silver's deal and it's good to know that wasn't the case. It's good he came around in the end and decided to help.

@@leerogish7223 this is an interesting idea about the crimes of KK3. What if it turns out that Mike only thought he threw away any evidence of the contract? I doubt there’d be anything in primitive about torturing Daniel, but enough circumstantial evidence would eventually pile up. If they can prove Terry ordered the arson it’s game over.

Well, think about it - the lawyer clearly called Silver regarding his contract with Mike Barnes. Terry apparently felt that Mike was working with Daniel-san in some capacity, so he (Terry) burnt down Mike’s furniture store as retribution.

He did kidnap the 3 somehow knowing where they were, also egged them to go to Terry's home to fight and really did hardly anything in the battle. Mike could be a double agent like chozen tried to do.

Breaking out of prison is a felony and he assaulted guards and possibly a prison doctor to do it, as well as stealing a pass from the prison therapist. Legally, Kreese shot himself in the foot by not just waiting a little bit longer; it doesn't matter anymore that Stingray changed his story, because now he's going to jail for busting out of jail.

Nah he cut up chozen with blade and they got two key witnesses Tory and stingray to testify against him. I think behind bars would suit silver well

@@edntz you’re right, but he was also declared innocent for his charge of attempted murder. In real life he’d face charges for escaping. So I don’t know how exactly they’re going to handle it, whether they are going to have him get off or have him still on the run being that Hollywood is less than accurate about the legal system.

@@omsaxena116 I disagree, the Miguel storyline got him to realize Johnny is the father he's always wanted all along AND it started the road to reconciliation with Robbie. I see why you'd think its pointless and they could have done it a bit better, but it served its purpose.

@@40kanon Obviously their relationship grew because of this but they could've simply worked in Silver doing something to Miguel and Johnny coming to save him. Silver and Barnes could've really used some more scenes.
