Coco is a passage female American kestrel that has adapted very well to the daily rhythm of her life in falconry: She’s an excellent starling hunter and very comfortable at home-the ideal combination for any trained hunting bird. Starlings are a invasive, non-native species here but have become an important food resource for wild kestrels here, not to mention all our other native bird-eating raptors.
This video is mainly a lot of sitting and preening, if you’re into that.
