She even makes the same obnoxious loud grunt when she hits a DROP SHOT or a VOLLEY? Makes zero sense…should be penalized…

Coco is an exceptional talent! It’s very difficult to be really good at singles as well as at doubles. Both the formats have different ways of thinking, different match tactics. And she has mastered both of them. Roland Garros finals in women’s singles and now semifinals in doubles: at such a young age is major achievement.

Just exceptional. Her movement on the court is still mind blowing to me. Great improvement on her forehand and I think that’s what made her game even better her backhand is so beautiful watch and once she’s in her strike zone she can hit a winner in any direction from that wing. This match was very entertaining as opposed to the other semi final that was so boring and one sided.

I found Trevisan noises super annoying. And they are not only annoying me but I'm pretty sure these noises affect negatively her opponent concentration and rhythm especially when grunting with full power while performing a dropshot or a volley both requiring very little effort. I'm so glad Coco Gauff won that match.

What I love about Gauff is the fact that she does NOT SCREAM!!!!

Coco played such an adult match. I could tell by Sloane’s comments there was some beef or tension here and right from the start she was doing the Martina Hingis smiling while Coco served mind games, grunting so long and loud and Coco just weathered the gamesmanship so we’ll until she settled in enough to break through. I think she was thinking about her loss to her the last time the played at the French Open and was doubting her shots a little bit with those first drop shots but she recovered and really dug in. Loved this match. The next thing Coco needs is to increase her foot speed between shots. She sometimes waits for the ball a little bit even after she hits a great shot. Iga is following the ball so we’ll and Coco will need to do that as well and not let her opponents get back into points when she’s hit a good shot going forward
