@@Thryfe Little known fact: Your framerate will dictate your ability for your reticule to re-center. Having a higher framerate means your game processes more frames of code per-second than those with lesser framerate. The speed at which your reticule re-centers post deviation, be it from an enemy QB or weapon recoil, is tied directly to framerate as opposed to what in GODOT is referred to as 'Delta Time' - or a form of timing independent of framerate, which is an unusual choice for a game with competitive elements until you take into account Armored Core VI was clearly designed around *single player* as opposed to multiplayer. I don't know if this is an issue on PS5, but it IS very much an issue on PC - so much so that, when I lowered my graphics settings to the lowest and bumped my framerate, I won 15 matches in a row after an 8 match losing streak. If you can adjust your graphical settings on PlayStation, I recommend dropping *every* setting you have to Low while simultaneously maxing your framerate to 120.

@@user-bv7ys1st8d yeah I heard about that! When I went from ps4 to ps5 I noticed a huge difference in weapon performance especially the gatling gun on my main build, and anytime I used a bazooka. Idk if it's actually a thing on ps5 for sure, but if it isn't, then the placebo is working wonders for me 🤣

At this point idk if FromSoft should be making games with a PvP component any more, they're masters of their craft on the SP side of things but everything about ER's and AC6's multiplayer is unacceptably bad from a design standpoint. The game has bad netcode AND bad mechanics that are linked to framerates coupled with some very unnecessarily-taxing effects that kill all but the newest systems' FPS. That kills pretty much all competitive interest I could have in the game. I wish we could've gotten co-op missions and a mission maker instead of this PvP...experience... This was a cool video, great work/awessome recording by Thryfe, but the more I learn about this game's PvP the more upset I am at how it works. The game is so cool and looks so good, but PvP feels bad because it apparently IS bad if you look closely enough under the hood, ugh.

@@Thryfe The Sutherland's the easier thing to build since the loadout of most versions mostly consist of machineguns and bazookas. Appearance-wise, a Melander frame mixed with some other parts, maybe?

@@Supersmallpig Most matches I play are pretty great for netcode, there are barely any that I feel that are atrocious. HOWEVER kicks 90% of the time feel wicked affected by netcode, that is for certain 🤣.

@@sonicking1525 It can feel that way at first for sure. Go by what you think looks coolest and what feels best to play. The fine details come over time once you have a build you really like and want to improve on it. Rule of cool and fun above all else 😁
