Good vid! I have the same P0507 code and hose leak(causes a rough and/or higher idle). Over time the rubber elbows crack from the heat. So, I am replacing the hose(called PCV crankcase ventilation hose) and PCV valve. Good to know the newer hose fits OVER the throttlebody and not underneath like the old hose! ;-) This will certainly be a bad joke on someone trying to route that new hose underneath. LOL.

took mine to two mechanics who gave me an estimate of 3500$ for remove the heads and have them inspected. after watching this video I checked my 07 liberty and there was a 1/4" hole in the pcv elbow. also the pcv is original at 115K so I ordered it. haven't driven it yet but I'll be pissed if that actually is the issue for me. over $1000 in diagnostic fees...

P0507 is a high idle code. High idle usually means a large vacuum leak. A bad PCV won't give you a vacuum leak code. That boot fell apart because that was your vacuum leak. You PCV valve was fine.

I'm getting the same code. I took it to the dealer here and they told me I had a bad radiator(LOL) and that could be causing the code. I'm going to a reputable independent mechanic next week and I'm going to mention some of the fixes you suggest from this video. I'm not really comfortable doing engine work myself. If I can just get a mechanic to replace the PCV valve, clean the throttle body, replace the sensor, and the idle air control valve it would eliminate to a few things. Those are all 10 dollar or so parts but not sure what labor time is.
