In this video Pat and Glai do a full playthrough of the board game, Codenames Duet. In Codenames Duet we are working together to find our agents out in the field. In this word puzzle game, we will give one word clues to point to multiple words on the table and contact the agents while trying to avoid a band of enemy assassins.

@AllAboardBoardgames Yes we played over the weekend and really enjoyed playing. After many games we did get to beat the first mission , using the basic 9 lives. Yes it is tough going, we got close a couple of times, and then Bingo ! On the map now so progress was made. Many thanks

ha! I'm relieved to see that we are not the only ones that lose to this game. It is so hard to ever come up with two or more answers you can be sure of for a clue. And when giving the clues it's very difficult to give clues suitable for two or more agent cards, without inadvertently giving a clue suitable for the assassin :-/

Hi Andrew. Yeah, Codenames is very difficult. The words can be totally unrelated, so trying to tie them together is not an easy task, and having 3 assassins lurking around doesn't help! Still, it is a really fun game and really gives the brain some exercise!

This version is very hard, with my gf we always won the original version when teamed but this one we often lose lol.

@@tpa3437 It certainly is very difficult! And there are 3 assassins to try to avoid so even if you have a good clue to tie some words together, you have to be very careful of those!
