Hah, when I was it high school, my cat, Socks kicked a German Shepherd 's ass. Said German Shepherd was chasing a poodle, that one ended up under my car. My cat was on the roof of the car, and jumped on the Shepherd and went to town, then when it ran off, Socks let the poodle run home...Laughed my ass off 😂

Once Cody feels the threat of Blackie has passed, his tail will return to normal size.

@@sheilamonroe7588 I know, i was just wondering that his tail was puffed so much when he entered his home, the most safe space. Had a very territorial male cat, a Silver-Bengal mixbreed. His tail could puff up like Cody`s, but it went back to normal size very fast when he was at home or in my arms. His tail puffed very fast when he saw a stranger cat, he hated all other cats. Even neutered, he scared away one of the unneutered black bully boys, made him run in panic. No bullshit talking like cats do it usually before fighting, my Tom just attacked with force. He was a really crazy boy, but he loved me very much and was very protective. He needed much playtime with me to waste his huge amount of energy, but then he was the calmest and most loving cuddle-buddy.

I have a ginger male and a black male, both indoor cats, and they have frequent disputes when their paths cross. It's always the ginger who wails and uses naughty words and the black cat just laughs and walks away. Don't recall them ever coming to blows.

Our Alfred, who came to us as a senior, was not a big fighter. Sometimes he just had to back the whole way to our door - on his on territory. I felt so sorry for him. One night - actually in the middle of the night - I got out of bed because I heard, there was trouble. I picked Alfred up, held him safe in my arms, and together we chased the other cat away. Alfred growling and very proud! I will never ever forget that. In his later years he actually got more brave and fighted intruders. I hated it, but I guess you can't do much about it. Love our gingers❤❤❤

Cody clearly felt more confident too the moment I appeared. So far I haven't seen Blacki and Cody fighting. Usually they only make a lot of noise once they meet ;)

In his way, Cody was saying to Blackie, "This is Tigger town - enter at your own risk!" For as flustered as Cody was, he stayed frosty, but he still got his message across. LOL! Love those orange tabbies! "Meow" ("Hi") to one and all from my ginger tigger, "Charlie Ginger Tigger." 😸😻😽I've owned four black cats - loved 'em too! 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛💗💗💗💗

I guess they will establish their mutually accepted borders soon (no doubt they will both cross them from time to time, of course). Blackie is a female, which should make this a little easier.
