I was a mental health professional for 30 years. I just e mailed the Wyoming Mental Health Division and asked them to do a mental health evaluation on Mr. Roberts as I believe he is a danger to society. I encourage people to email the Wyoming State Mental Health board and request the same since the state laws do not protect animals from cruelty

He should have jail time to think about what he did.

How is cruelty to animals punished in Germany? Cruelty to animals is punishable by a prison sentence of up to three years. The courts can impose this maximum penalty if someone deliberately tortures animals and completes the act and does not merely intend to do so.

This was in the newspapers here the UK..... it was so appalling it was covered in the newspapers for a few days. That is why I grew up with dogs. They would have never stood by and watched this guy hurt any dog or wolf, or person. He would have had his head handed to him. What is wrong with some people. Based on what I read he purposely ran over the wolf with a ski mobile; that was no accident! He then began to torture it after it was already both shocked and in pain from being hit.I have not read anything regarding any legal repercussions for a series of evil deeds bestowed upon this innocent animal; arrest, fines or jail??? To stand idly by and observe this deplorable heinous act unravel; is just as bad, to me, as doing the deed itself. Just an FYI in case someone else hasn’t mentioned this. It’s legal to intentionally chase and run over wolves and coyotes with snowmobiles in predator zones in WY (85% of WY is classified as a predator zone). They do it for fun and even gave it a name… Coyote Whacking (they do this to wolves and coyotes). They even share videos of it. It’s sick. It’s not hunting. So, Cody was within the law up to the point that he took it captive while alive. That law needs to change. Whether you agree with wolf hunting or not, running over animals with vehicles intentionally should not be legal.

And one other thing. Until Wyoming shows it's a state that will NOT put up with animal-torture-cruelty we should all stop visiting or buying things made in Wyoming!!

I’m not American excuse my lack of knowledge. Is this not against the law or some state law? In australia the locals will personally hunt u down for purposely harming wildlife. A guy visiting AUS was caught killing and eating ibis birds and the locals physically intervened. He is facing criminal charges. Another guy got his shed burned down for shooting magpies. Not all hunters are like this. Unfortunate thing is that he’ll probably still get business from fish and wildlife but under a different business name. The only way to prevent this from continuing is voting in new leaders that’ll enact change. Small counties like this tend to ignore these incidents because “it’s just the way it’s been” mentality. And trust me, this isn’t a one off incident. This has been going on for a long time just now someone decided to record and upload it because there hasn’t been backlash in their small circle so they thought it wasn’t a big deal. Ass backwards.
