Agreed. The rear end still needs stability, drift or track. the downforce created by a spoiler helps to create this stability. especially for the faster corners. but at the end of the day, each driver has his or her own preferences

Well you are right. Especially since drifting has become all about power slides at 200mph, meaning its not like the D1GP back in 2002-2003 on a small circuit with many corners to link. A spoiler might be beneficial on a high speed drift

maybe they do....i dont really know that much abiuot drifting but i do know that the spoiler is probably there for just the looks but also air resistance to keep the back end down, however, also increasing the grip it also is useful for drift races where racers are able to go fast, such as drift tracks with long stretches! thats what a spoiler is for.

not totalled, they have rails where the a frames held the bumpers and fenders so new bumpers and fenders can be easily placed on

i dont think so, quad rota has alot more pickup than the rx-8's 20b. but id say they're about on the same level now that hes gone back to ppre with his rx8 engine

because the rx7 is not as modern and not up to spec with most of the other cars. the rx8 body is more rigid and is easier to drive around the track. (thats what he said)
