Wow, I was completely BLOWN AWAY, and absolutely moved to tears from this version of one my favorite old Reba songs. My husband was listening to it, and I asked who it was, and he said it was a guy he has been listening to lately. So I put my headphones on and brought it up on KZfaq. As I listened to Cody singing, aside from the lyrics, I was simply moved by how he interrupted the song vocally. The passion and emotion he was delivering through his vocals alone just brought me to tears. It was totally amazing. Blown away. Very few artists have that affect on me. I know nothing about this artist, but I'm about to do some research. His talent is beyond anyone I know of on radio today. I sure hope he is getting the recognition he is deserving of. We need more talent like his in the country music industry. I honestly think Reba herself would be moved by Cody's version of her song. I hope someone passes the word onto her, and maybe she will. ❤

@@texasoutlaw5558 Yes, I found that song when I was doing my research. I was so happy to know Reba knows him, and has recorded with him. Not only is Cody an awesome singer, but from what I've read, and heard, he is an American patriot! He loves our country, and respects our military/law enforcement men and women. I pray he stays true to who he is, and doesn't sell out like so many of today's artists have. Looks like a great family man, as well. He seems to be surrounding himself with some good people of great character and integrity, i.e. Marty Raybon. Awesome! 🎶🎸🎤 ❤

Not to take anything away from Reba, but I had never paid much attention to how well written this song is until I heard this cover. "When the icy winds blow through you, remember that it's me that feels the cold most of all" is such a great line. Just having the guitar really brings out the loneliness of the lyrics, and he sings it perfectly. It's wonderful in all ways.

Until now...I always thought that this classic is one that shouldn’t be touched by anyone. But my gosh, what a beautiful rendition of this song. The acoustic background lent itself to the lyrics more than the original. And let’s face it. This guy could sing anything and make it sound like a hit song. Cody has the most beautiful rich tone in country music IMHO.

I found out my wife cheated on me with her coworker. I tried to make it work because I love her so much. One day I came home from work she's gone again. Nearly killed me. She's now in East Coast. This song really hits me hard. I still miss her and love her so much but she's moved on. Hope whoever is going through a hard breakup heals and learn how to enjoy life again.

Cody sang the heck out of it, and it's not an easy song to sing! Same with "Does He Love You?" and "You Lie"... there's just something about Reba's ballads that are challenging to sing, but Cody knocked this one out of the park!

I became a widow 4 years ago then starting dating someone that I paused from years ago and as strong as our love was it was deja vu 2 1/2 years after dating. This song makes me think of my grandma she used to sing this a lot.... I miss her so much. My granddad left her a couple times but everytime he came back she loved him more.... Its one thing to cover a song someone well known has recorded and it has been embedded in everyone's mind in how it should be sung. But when you can sing the song and add your own twist and seasoning to it that's talent. Good job!

I've been listening to Cody for quite awhile now. I enjoy his singing just as much as the other Artist. He has his own way of singing. Then he popped up at the Award's. He sure got his groove on that night. God bless you Cody. And yes I need to get a CD of your music.
