One thing I loved was how Gus’ backstory connects to Jesse. Both of them weren’t the cook when they started, and were the more meth business savvy side of their duos. They both constantly had to prove themselves to the higher ups and it makes sense why he “sees things” in Jesse. Gus sees his early self.

Which is probably why he wanted Walt dead so badly since Walt and Jesse were a team and so was Gus and his brother so Gus wanted Walt dead since he reminded him of his brother that got killed by Hector

Season 4 is a masterpiece and my second favorite season of T.V. Season 5 is hand's down my favorite season of any T.V show I've ever seen. My favorite episode's are Box Cutter, Salud, Crawl Space, End Times and Face Off.

just finished season 4 (literally watched the last 5 episodes of it in one sitting today, its that good) and man I really don't know if I still want to root for Walt. The way this show kinda twists the viewer's feelings around so freaking much is what makes it so perfect.

Oh where to begin? Thank you for reminding me about "Crawlspace", I ended up going on a binge of watching videos about it. That last scene w/ Walt in the crawlspace laughing manically is my absolute favorite scene of the entire show. The acting, the music, the cinematography, just brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! And yeah everything w/ Gus is amazing too, what a phenomenal character he was. The most chilling thing about him to me is how he never raises his voice once until the very end when he realizes what's happening with Hector and shouts right before he dies. He manages to convey so much terror and evilness throughout the whole show w/o ever raising his voice & it actually makes his threats so much scarier. The part where he says "I will kill your infant daughter" in that calm, measured tone is just terrifying. I was definitely sad to see him go but they sure made him go out with a bang!(he he). Anyway, I could go on and on but I'll stop myself now 🤐 looking fwd to hearing your thoughts on S5!

He did raise his voice in Mexico after he murdered Don eladio and his associates and screams at the survivors to raid the place or die if they try to take him on! Pretty intense episode.

Yeah, arguably it does get harder to believe Hank hasn't started to ask more questions about Walter. Right back from season 1 Hank knows the gas mask came from Walter's school and there's equipment missing from his lab. It would be interesting though if the whole show was just told from Hank's point of view, would most people work out who Heisenberg is?

Not really. Walt usually removes his fingerprints and catches the DEA off guard. Also, most of the show takes place in about one year.

Season 4 is my favorite season in BB! loved every single episode, loved Gus vs The Cartel, the episode Salud was phenomenal, the last few episodes were insanely good! Gus vs Walt, Face Off, mannnn EPIC!... Can't wait for El Camino! starting it right now!

The fly isn’t an isolated episode. It’s probably the most mysterious part of the whole show. In season 5 Walt is just lost in thought and you see the chart behind him of all the different flies. Right before he disposed of mike, this fly is present.

I'd have to say that my all-time favorite moment in cinema (to this day) is Gus's death. I really thought that he was going to elude them once again.

My favorite moment is the scene with Mike, Jesse and Gus at Don Elodio house and Gus gave him this poison drink and all ten people started drinking it and Gus vomited it out of his mouth in the bathroom.

Gus was furious and wanted to kill someone someone had to die that's why he killed victor he was the least valuable person in the room at that point

Honestly if Walter would’ve just kept his mouth shut and let go of his ego then hank would’ve stayed out of the investigation and things would’ve been fine.

Well i think Walter would still have died cuz their plan of turning Jesse against Walt was working. If Walt didnt poison dat child and manipulate Jesse jist right, then show coulda gone another way.

Like many, Season 4 is my favorite season of the show. I strongly echo your thoughts of wanting to know more about Gus in Chile. Hopefully Better Call Saul will address it. Was wondering if you believe Gus and his business partner Max were "more than just friends?" Seems to go through a lot just to avenge a pal.

I started watching the show because I had seen the last third of End times and thought it was really suspenseful even though I really didn't know what was happening . So I went back and binge watched until I was caught up amd ready for the season 4 funale. I was absolutely hooked after 15 minutes of 1 episode

What I love about the scene where Gus kills Victor is that Mike instinctively pulled his gun on him for a second. Almost like even he wasn't expecting someone as almost purely intellectually ruthless as Gus to straight-up murder someone

Fascinating..! I never ever thought about the fact that Walter and Hank have had so much more time off screen, even before the show starts to genuinely connect like that. Okay, yeah. That actually makes a lot of sense and answers a lot of the questions I asked myself while watching through it. 🧐

I have to say, I can’t pick one favorite episode. It’s really from Crawl Space to Face-Off that are my favorite episodes of the season. Talk about on the edge of my seat for about 3 hours

I think the thing I enjoy the most about season four was watching Jessie’s park. And that through everything even in his ark of where he gets buddy buddy with Gus and Mike, he still won’t let Gus kill Walter.

I agree about it seeming realistic that Hank doesn’t believe Walt is actually Heinseinburg. Everything you said I agree with, but also if you look at their relationship you can tell Hank looks down on Walt to some extent, and doesn’t see him capable of doing it. In the “no mas” episode when Hank is helping Walt pack up his bags, he even admits he has half a million in cash in it. All Hank did was laugh and load it up. That was just one of many examples I thought that shows Hank looking down on Walt a bit, and underestimating his true abilities.

I cant say enough how much this season ramped it up, cody said it right that every episode was even better than the last. TV perfection. On to season 5 which is my personal favorite, but not by much!

Very good video and very good review. If I can offer for just a little piece of advice though for people that may be haven’t seen the show and are now just watching it and maybe have only finished seasons one through four and him enjoy KZfaq reviews you might want to leave season five spoilers out of it. Or just at the beginning of the video say yet they will be season five spoilers in here.

3:28 Gale was innocent and absolutely did not deserve to be killed. Gale never twisted anyone's arm to get them to smoke his meth and like he said if it came from him it was purer and less adulterated.

Gus took a pill before he broke out that poison drink. I first thought that was a pill that would counteract the effects of whatever poison he put in that bottle. Obviously, that wasn't the case.

Well I think it was the case but it dulled the effects rather than counteracted them fully. Gave him enough time to get to medical treatment.

It's hard to pick a favorite episode from this season and "Crawl Space" is a good pick, my personal favorite of season 4 is "Hermanos". Its also in my top five of the series.....but ah fuck! They're all amazing!

I wish I could strangle hank knock some sense into him and say “DONT YOU KNOW Curiosity KILLED THE CAT?! Stop!!!” I loved season 4 my only pet peeve is how Gus died with the bomb, him walking out & you think he’s fine and the camera turns to the other side of his face the CGI was a little rough and didn’t fit breaking bads tone, I wish the way Gus died was a little more clever, I also found that Ted was filler in moments of the season. Also poor Saul!!! No amount of money could make me get screwed up with Jesse and Walter. Finnally Jesse gets his confidence back at the end of season 4. Other than that EXCELLENT SEASON!!! No more Skylar bitching. 9/10 I’m almost on season 5

Love your reviews, watched them all since season 1 and you sum it up and review the episodes very well. Especially love you how are able to add actual footage from the show without apparently any copyright issues... Only thing I'd say is it would've been better if you weren't giving out any information on the coming seasons because at times it has really ruined it for me as I've been watching these along with the show.

My favorite episode are Breaking Bad, Seven-thirty-seven, Better Call Saul, 4 Days Out, Down, Over, ABQ, Face-Off and Falina those are my main favorite but the truth is I love the whole show actually there's no favorite episode and favorite season it just the whole show overall.

I get your point but it's hard to do that for a show that's been off the air for 6 or 7 years. When you discuss foreshadowing and plot setup it's hard to mentally block off where the story goes.

You said Hanks a really good detective (DEA Agent) and that he figures all these things out himself but it really seems like all clues fall in his lap. You said that about Debra Morgan from ( Dexter) but I think you got it mixed up. Deb is a really good detective and hank has all these clues that come flying out of fucking nowhere 😂😂. Anyways much support Cody always enjoy your videos but that’s the only thing I’ve disagreed with you about.
