I know this is another old vid but blimey parallels, my other half snapped his achilles on a skateboard (didn't even fall, it just went) and we missed a holiday to Cornwall too! Thankfully he works on a computer all day so he could carry on, I homeschool our son so we'd have been scuppered with the amount of change it would have meant for us. Not sure I can find work that would pay what he earns without years of progression or some serious qualifications. That aside, just having to physically do everything - dog walks, kid stuff, house stuff - it's completely knackering

Hello Tiggy! Ouch - Poor Lizzie!! I can relate. I had a terrible bike accident 6 months ago. My best friend side swiped me riding on the beautiful American River Bike Trail & down I went - HARD. Well, I knew immediately that it was serious. Could not hold the handlebar & had to ride home 10 miles using only one hand to steer. Broke my wrist, thumb & pinkie and messed up my back as well. 7 compressed vertebrae. Spent lot of time just laying on the sofa feeling pretty sorry for myself to tell the truth. I just got my cast off last month & am so glad to do small things again like washing my hair with 2 hands again and opening a bottled water - haha!. It was a very rough 6 months for me (and super costly too - even with insurance) Wouldn't wish it on anyone!! P.S. - don't ride alongside anyone EVER!!!

That looks wonderful!! I love it!! I'm so sorry you had to relive Matt's injury memory. At least he's up and walking around now and he has that ability. I would like to think it's made your bond together very, very strong. I'm a caregiver and I know that it can definitely bring you closer when your partner is injured. Grateful for you two!! 💛

Oh god, I fainted Sunday night and have bruises all over and probably a broken toe, just got Rx done, but need to wait three days for the results ☹️ anyhow I love coffee and coffee soaps , beautiful 🤩

Soap looks great! You brought back memories for me too! When my 3 kids where young my hubby broke his ankle and it had to be plated together. 8 months it took for me not to kill him and in that time my oldest kid broke his wrist in half and needed surgery as well. I lived on the other side of the country with no family around to help. I had to take a leave from work because my twins were around 3, my son with broke wrist was around 11 and hubby could not walk. It was crazy!!!! Then my son broke the other wrist about 6 months later. Lol, Good times. Lol.

I have been making spiced coffee-ish (can’t actually have coffee so I do a blend of chicory and dandelion root). I add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom or what ever spices sound good. I love it so much.

I thought I’d given myself a shiner on Monday when I accidentally walloped my self in the eye with my hairdryer! Fortunately I’d didn’t bruise. Soap sounds gorgeous ❤️

This soap sounds amazing! Sorry for your black eye! Had one too years ago. My cat was catching mosquitoes at night. Unfortunately in my face 😂. But I had really, really big luck. He hasn't broke my eye. Just two millimeters. Since then I'm sleeping with a mask.

Love a good coffee soap & this is beautiful! I remember what Matt broke his hip, and hopefully he can give some good advice to the lady who skateboards. So glad that challenge didn't break you to up. So sorry about your black eye but glad it's healing nicely. Do you have any advice to stop loaf tops from cracking during the heating-up phase of cure? Looking forward to more videos!

I once gave myself a black eye falling on the corner of a telephone stand, back when we actually had telephone stands. 😂 The soap looks SO yummy, I can almost smell it. The texture is divine.

I made a coffee soap with cardamom and cinnamon oils. I hated the smell but everyone I gave it to raved about how lovely it was.

You’re so right! A black eye means you’re constantly telling the story of how it happened. “I won a fight with a chest of drawers” will undoubtedly shorten to just “I won” by the time the yellowing fades away! 🤣 Take care cutie pie!

I fell out of a trailer and broke my wrist. It was in a brace and one of my friends asked another of my friends, “ Do you think her husband did that??” My friend laughed and said “It’s much more likely she’d come out on the upper end of that altercation.” She’s right.
