When you talked about how your perspective shifted on your videos and how people watch them for comfort, I just wanted to say that your videos (along with Taylor’s, JuicyJas), sincerely helped me through a huge break up at the beginning 2020 into living alone for the first time in the Pandemic. The fear of that, not having family or friends in person and having you guys as my ‘friends’ in the background made it so comforting and bearable in the loneliest times. I’m so thankful you guys get to do what you do because I know how much it helps people firsthand! I still love to watch and chill every upload, been watching since before lil’ Gigi 💕

I remember a video you made when you had just gotten Pinocchio, where for most of the video we could hear him whining and crying in the background because he didn’t want to be in his crate. Someone said in the comments to please consider crating him in another room next time, and you were like, “he WAS crated in another room.” 😂 I really hope your sweet boy feels better soon!

You’re so right on the entertaining part of the videos. I mainly watch them for the feeling of having a friend who’s talking about the things I like and to entertain while doing things like cooking, cleaning, doing laundry. On occasions I follow recommendations and buy makeup but it’s mainly for the entertainment.

With my baby, now 14 lol, we went in for our scheduled c section after trying everything...they said let's look at one more ultrasound. She had flipped. Was induced and 14 hours later she was born. Praying for you all!

The reason I have become obsessed with your videos since I stumbled upon you last year, is because you are so casual, chatty, just being a “buddy” like you said. I felt called out when you said “just having a buddy in the room”. I actually laughed out loud at the realization of how lonely I am and I use KZfaq to help with that haha. The only time I watch KZfaq is while I’m cooking, doing makeup, folding clothes, etc. Like you said, just enjoying company, hearing someone talk. Thanks for your content, I definitely enjoy laid back over informative. ☺️

Beagles are dramatic but they're pretty good at bouncing back from things. :) My male beagle had IVDD and did eventually need surgery for it and I swear as soon as he woke up from the surgery he was up and acting like nothing had ever happened. The hardest part is keeping them chill while they heal from their misadventures!

You are so right about the reason some of us watch KZfaq! I also put it on doing laundry, dishes etc. I got into beauty KZfaq about six years ago, when I was in a starting a new chapter phase of my life, I searched for youtubers with a similar skintone and similar taste in makeup/brands as me, and then a couple of handfuls have stuck around because I like your personalities and the way you do videos. Watching beauty KZfaq can be really relaxing (I stay far away from drama channels!). Ironically I started out wanting to learn how to do winged liner on my hooded eyes, but as I took a plunge I ended up doing my makeup in a completely different way instead when I came back up 😅

As a project panner I've unsubscribed from a lot of "old school" youtubers who are all about the "new new New, buy buy buy". But there are a few that I've stayed subscribed to because I just love their personalities and they are going their own road. Obviously you are one of those. And I also think that the way you declutter is so mindful and your collection isn't obscene and I always trust that the review / opinion you are giving is one you'd give to a friend or family member. Speaking on saving on makeup. Girrrrl for my wedding I invested on the foundation, got the famous Nars radiant. ABSOLUTELY HATE IT! Looked horrible on my skin!!!!! Thank God I tested before. What happen? I ran to ride aid and got the L’Oréal infallible and it was just PERFECT! Best makeup look I’ve done! I felt stunning! So I thought to myself: not spending 40 bucks on a foundation if drugstore has so many amazing products!

Regarding what you were saying about why we watch your videos, I started watching beauty KZfaq around the same time I was really struggling as a teenager at school and feeling lonely a lot of the time, so watching videos felt like I had a friend, that's why I care about the personalities of the people I watch. Now at the age of 25 I still get comfort from watching KZfaq! I will rewatch a video multiple times by my favourite creators. At this point I watch every video of yours, regardless of the topic, because I feel a connection to YOU! 😊 💕

My first was breech. I chose not to do the ECV because of the risks. The umbilical chord was wrapped multiple times around his neck so I was grateful we didn’t try to flip him. I ended up with an emergency C-section because my water broke two days before my schedule csection. I went on to have two unmedicated vbacs. You seriously have the best outlook on it. Like whatever happens, happens. There’s so much criticism about csections but I’m so grateful they exist.

Our last dog tore his ACL in one back leg, and a month later the one in the other back leg and could barely walk after that. We did two TPLO surgeries. It was expensive and the recovery process took some time, but it was really worth it in the end. He got his mobility back and was able to get back for his normal life for five more years. Best wishes for little Pinocchio! Please keep us updated.

I definitely use YT more as entertainment and watch several YTers for a "no commitment" friendship (as in I genuinely LIKE the persona of whom I'm watching and feel as if I know them as a friend....but with the perk of it being one-sided so that the only effort in maintaining that friendship is watching the video and hitting the like button).

Hi Jessica! I had a c-section 5 months ago. I know it’s scary not knowing what to expect, but here’s my two cents: bring a belly binder for support afterwards, the anesthesiologist is your best friend and will keep you comfortable, avoid pants if possible (pack night gowns/dresses), and be very careful getting in and out of bed afterwards (the twisting can stress the 9 different layers of incisions and stitches). Having said all that, I had a great experience and my next baby will be delivered via c-section.

Absolutely yes to the trajectory video!! And I MAJORLY second the idea of watching KZfaq for comfort. Like literally the idea of feeling like you’re friends with the people you watch is so strong when you watch the same people and listen to them chat all the time. It’s like being on the phone with a great friend. Like there would be grief if any of you disappeared from my life. 💕

Not to be dramatic, but KZfaq is a life saver for me as a stay at home mom. A sanity saver at least. I feel like I have some type of adult interaction when I watch videos like yours when I’m home with my toddler all day. You said it perfectly when you said it’s like having a buddy to hang with.

First of all, would LOVE a chit chat GRWM about your life! Even as someone who has been watching you since, basically, the beginning, I would still love a synopsis! I have been told that planned c sections are a completely different experience. They are calm and you can be way less stressed with it because everyone is ready for it. I had an emergency and it was hectic, but if I have another one I would opt for the scheduled c section again! Babies do what they want and you definitely can think you're prepared but aren't in the end. It happens really fast too so it isn't bad! You got this and she will be perfect and healthy in the end!

i really like the idea of a ‘get to know me throughout my life’ video! because exactly like you said, you’re my buddy and that’s something i talk about with my ‘real life’ buddies - so it makes total sense. i know you chatted a bit about your channel content, i wanted to say that you’re the one person i would actually tune into a Live video for - i WFH and a mid-day Live would be so fun!
