I would have never believed 10 years ago when I started a youtube channel about makeup, that I would have created these online friendships with so many of you lovely, wonderful people out there! We all live in different areas of the world, but we all connect in some way and I think that is so, so beautiful! I love you all dearly - all of your comments here have made me cry numerous times. I can forsure tell by watching you for SO long that you're more happier now then ever. That's what makes me happy. I love you and all you do and I just really like your silly self ❤❤❤❤ I also love watching you and #TylerTravelTV and seeing how much you ţwo really are 1 together I cabby tell you how much I love that. You and #EmilyNoel are my top couples. I also love my girl #TaylorWynn she's awesome. I used to watch so many now it's only a handful but my top 5 is truly like u get upset when I'm not there as soon as you upload 😢that's something I have to understand up get to watch it but I feel if I'm not right there it's like idc and that's so far from the truth. Well I think it's weird that others don't MIND their business and hush this is your channel you are IN CHARGE those are your children whom YOUR SAY SO IS IT. I think you do a wonderful job at all you and #TylerTravelTV do and id say do what makes you happy and don't second guess you do to someone who doesn't know you in real life nor probably never will nor does what they say truly MATTER. #JessicaBraun you're really a good video making woman who's I'm almost positive has helped others in many ways that you can't even imagine. I know you've changed my mood on many days just by watching the way you do things and those are the special channels I love now a days. I used to watch those crazy channels that's always got DRAMA in them and I dang sure don't need anymore. Jessie, I started watching you the very first time you posted. I had just turned 50, wanted to learn how to do my makeup, and was searching for someone relatable. I searched for tutorials and your video was suggested. You are the same age as my daughter, attending college to be a teacher (same as she was), brown curly hair and reminded me so much of her. I was missing her being home, she was at college 2 states away and I felt less lonely when I watched your videos. I was comforted when my mom suddenly passed away, then 5 years later my best friend passed away and in July my dad. Your videos gave me a feeling of being with family and were a great help. I wait until morning so I can watch and do my makeup with you. I’ve often caught myself responding to you, then laugh at myself when I realize I’m talking to you out loud and you can’t hear me. I don’t think I could pick a favorite video because they are all so good but I do love decluttering videos especially when you show the swatches and then show what’s staying and what’s leaving. I don’t comment often, because many times I see others have said exactly what I was thinking. But from here on out, I’ll be sharing my appreciation for the work that you do. I'm 40, newly disabled and homebound. At my age, all my people work and have busy lives, so I don't see much of anyone. You and a couple other KZfaqers are my escape. Jessica, I am 71 years young and I LOVE your channel. I found you a couple of years ago, and while obviously I enjoy your makeup content, I really like the “life” vlogs. Seeing you and Tyler is always fun, even when you guys discuss heavier subjects. You have grown as a woman and I am sure there is more growth and change to come. Congratulations on 10 years! I found you when I was pregnant with my first, and it was right after you had Felicity. I was terrified, but watching your videos on having a baby and parenting gave me a lot of peace. Since then, I’ve learned so much from you as a parent, as a makeup lover, as a Disney fan, and just as a person because you are such a positive force in this world. Thanks for all you do! I love your channel. I found you about a year ago because I was 6 months pregnant with twin girls trying to pack a diaper bag! And I started following you. Because I so value your genuineness and kindness. I am a former high school teacher and a Christian and my husband has been trying to convince me for *years* to start a KZfaq channel to help with the practical side of what it means to be a Christian and because there are lots of voices on the internet that do not accurately reflect Jesus or what it means to follow Him *at all.* Anyway, your channel and genuineness is one I learn from and have been inspired by as I’ve gotten started because of who you are even though the content is different. I found your channel while I was home on maternity leave in the summer of 2018 where I quickly realized that our babies were born exactly 1 week apart. Not only were you making content that I was drawn to already, but seeing another first time mom going through all the same things at the same time was a huge a comfort. You have brought so much joy into my life! I began watching makeup for mature women and then I discovered it was for40,50 and sometimes 60 year olds. Well I turned 70 in April and I decided to watch influencers of all ages and take away what I wanted since I am beyond mature! You always have me laughing and shaking my head! I think that’s more important than makeup tips! Though I do try to put some tips into practice. 😮 Please know that you are a blessing in my life😊

Hi, little sis. 😊 You have helped me recover from open heart surgery, diaphragm surgery, and some very depressing days. I have chronic pain in my back from severe scoliosis. The curves are to the point to were its affecting my breathing. I was a singer, so you can relate when I say how much of a struggle it has been to accept it. I miss it so bad. You help me through the really bad days. Your positive attitude and the fact you share some struggles in life makes me feel less alone. I appreciate the balance you have of showing your girls. You don't make the channel all about them but also don't act like they aren't there. You aren't showing their private things and medical like some would. Gigi could walk into the kitchen or be in a different room while you are filming and you mention it without making it a big deal. I have been here for 8-9 years and have seen you change so much!

I’ve been watching your channel for over 3 years now and haven’t missed an upload since! I had just recently started watching KZfaq and somehow found your channel (honestly can’t remember how) and I’m so glad I did! I’ll watch any video you post but my favorite are your vlogs, especially vlogmas! You really are like a big sister to me and you’ve taught me countless things when it comes to makeup and just life! I'm always here for the long form. I live with Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, CFS, broken tailbone since a child, cptsd, depression, anxiety. Anyway, that gets to be a lot, so I watch short form when I'm really hurting. It keeps me distracted for longer. Whereas, if I'm depressed, I like longer form cause it's like hanging out with a friend. You and Taylor have been my go-to channels for so many years. So, you have been an integral part of how I manage my chronic pain and depression. So, for that, I can never thank you enough.❤

I went back to see which video was my first one...and it was vlogmas of 2019. I loss my husband that Sept and I found you via Taylor Wynn, and today I can say that I have not missed one video. I've watched each one and some twice. My 2 faves are you and Taylor because you are both honest and not into the BS. Hi Jess I’ve been watching your videos for very many years. You have help me with grieving the loss of my dear Father & through the many emotional days I experienced caring for my mother on hospice with dementia. I would cry and tell myself to watch Jess! She will cheer you up; you never let me down. As an ICU night Nurse your voice soothes me to sleep after a trying shift especially during the pandemic when I saw way more than any human should experience. For this I can’t thank you enough. Your beautiful inside and out and your little family is so perfect! Tyler is an amazing husband (not to mention easy on the eyes too 😊) You make a wonderful team. Here’s to the next 10! 🎉❤🎉

That’s how old I am currently, and I’ve been thinking that it’s too late to start anything and become successful. I’m so glad that you’ve grown and blossomed so much over these past 10 years. I’m not Jess, but please know that you are NEVER too old! I’m almost 29 now. My life changed in some major and scary ways a couple of months after I turned 24, and I wasn’t sure I was brave enough to get through it. My life now is so beautiful and more than I could have ever dreamt of at 24! So much can change in 5 short years. You’ve got this ❤

38 minutes in and I'm all teary-eyed again! Jessie Girl, one of the first videos I saw of yours was you opening a few gifts from subscribers - sitting on your bedroom floor at your Mom & Dad's home. The next one was you and Tyler walking/running after your new puppy Pinocchio in the snow at your apartment. Then you and Tyler doing a Q&A with you looking at each other like you hung the moon. At one point you said "I need windshield wipers for my eyes" - one of my favorite expressions still. Heavenly Father, please Jessica and her whole family love, peace, comfort, and grace, in the name of my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ.

From beauty, to vlogs, to riding along for your baby appointments, you never cease to entertain and provide such knowledge. A little over a year ago I moved to a new city where I don’t know anyone but my husband and his friends, and about a year ago I had a baby. Mom life in a city you don’t know anyone can be extremely lonely, so I just wanted to say thank you because you’ve kept me company a lot over the last year and make me feel like I have a mom friend even if it is one sided 😂

I stumbled on to your channel in 2014 while recovering from a bad surgical wound and on medical leave. Bored and listless, I realized while skimming through KZfaq that even though I considered myself good with makeup, that I hadn't changed anything about the way I was doing it or the products since roughly 1990. Suddenly couch-ridden for awhile, I realized the world had changed and I had missed it. So I started looking through makeup videos by looking for women with fair skin, like me, who acknowledged that women over 40 had different skin and were willing to recommend drugstore products and some simple tutorials about stuff like wings. You ended up hitting that search algorithm, among others, and then KZfaq makeup videos exploded. Suddenly KZfaq makeup tutorials were star makers and some of these people were making ridiculous amounts of money, losing their minds (literally) and wrapping themselves up in so much drama that it started hitting outside media coverage. Amazing and absurd. But through it all, you stayed out of the drama, kept to yourself, stayed true to yourself and your vision, and after a while I bought and used pretty much all the products I needed but I kept watching you because it began to feel like a pleasure to just watch you grow into a woman. Gigi was clearly tough for you, between figuring out how to be a mom and deal with PPD, but you slowly began to lose some of the self-consciousness that was weighing you down and after Felicity, you literally blossomed before our eyes. You laugh more now and your eyes say "I got this now" even on days when you still have doubts. In a world of make believe, it's been lovely to watch a real human young girl shaking during a proposal on video bloom into a kind, generous, self-assured woman I would be proud to know. I was a music performance major in college and played in the pit orchestra. Everyone at our college apartment was from the theater department, all night long, every weekend, blaring Les Mis or Phantom until the police were called (early 90s, cut me slack). In many ways you're like the niece I never had (I'd say daughter, but I'd have never had a kid that young ;)). Happy 10 Year Anniversary. May you have many more, as long as it brings you joy.

When you were talking about the fact that you don't have to do youtube, I remembered what I've been thinking of in school. Getting a bad grad doesn't affect be fiscally. It affects what colleges I might or might not get into or that I might not graduate, don't worry, I will. But I will be fin. I could still get a job I love. It sounds weird, but that fact helped me so much and takes a lot of pressure off me.❤ I've also been watching for a long time with my mom, and we love you!

You have gotten me hooked on so many products and your vlogs and just enjoy it all. You just got me though a tough road. My husband just had radiation treatment for a brain tumor we've been dealing with for awhile, and while I was sitting there each morning I would watch a video of yours while sitting in the waiting room. It was 6 weeks total and getting up early in the morning getting my kids up and to my parents house and then off to his treatment you helped me through that without even knowing it. I've been watching you for awhile now and will continue to support you and your family. Thank you!
