Even though I'm an East Coast guy I've always loved how beautiful California is and so thankful of all my visits there throughout my life. Just look at this awesome view. ❤

@@DavidVanHelden1 No it's not?? The cities are nasty but every city in America has that funk. The natural parks, winding cliff side roads, mountains, wildlife and everything in between is beautiful. Go touch grass old man and take the stick out of your butt.

@@DavidVanHelden1 I spent a few months with friends who live in Rancho Palos Verdes not long ago and it was just awesome as usual. Don't be jealous, stay in school and don't do drugs. 🤣

@@NortheastAndRetired I am 64 years old ...I grew up in Southern California and left decades ago ..I now drive a big rig down to California every week ... what that beautiful state has turned into breaks my heart ...Rancho Palos Verdes has remained a nice place to live but the state in hole has turned into a shithole... Next time you visit you should get out more ...take a ride around any major city and look around ... get back to me about what you see ...

yes that's the answer, try controlling the water even more and then complain or blame climate change when the ground shifts, and there's mud slides. or when one breaches and causes devastating flooding, water always wins eventually.

They used the Morris Dam to test underwater munitions back at WWII. Still have the launch ramp. (Also, that’s how old these dams are.)

It’s California, there might be a worm that is protected. But if they could remove the sediment, it would take years for the permits

1 acre foot of water is 325000 gallons of water. A family of 4 uses about 100k gallons per year. Reporter is wrong.

He’s probably estimating refills for their Olympic-sized pool and irrigation of their extensive lawn/gardens. Plus daily washing of their fleet of Teslas. This is California after all. 😉

Every dam is effected by sediment and debris. It’s a ongoing process removing dredge.
