yea those are pita to install but last longer than the rubber spacers. I feel your pain lol but good job getting them in
@colbyoliveaux76032 жыл бұрын
You gotta prop the rear diff and then use the jack to drop down under the coil spring. Itll stretch out and let them fit. Def put em on 2 diff coils. It's not hard
@patrickelamm28905 жыл бұрын
They are hard to get in, there's some tricks though. they are good once you get them in. the package is explaining two different ways to do it both ways will work.

Thank you for this video, it helped a lot! I plan on using these as a temporary fix on my rear coil springs until I can get my hands on either longer Springs or a decent spacer. Have you checked for movement since you installed them? I look forward to your follow up video explaining why you hate them.
@skyfly518 жыл бұрын
They havent moved at all, I doubt they ever will due to the high amount they stretched my springs
@my2centz1965 жыл бұрын
That looks like it would ruin your springs! I'd never do that if anything I'd get something that lifts the whole spring like a thicker spring gasket if they make such a thing lol. Either way those look dangerous lol.

Would this be ok on a ford ranger i bought some just to get the front higher a lil bit but i just use the truck for work not offroading are these safe to use
@skyfly514 жыл бұрын
If you check out my update video, in my experience they are never safe

if i were to use these on my jeep just for like a half inch. would they ride okay? i have a rough country buget boost leveling kit. but i want to raise my rear end like a half inch or so more . also would it effect my allignment?
@skyfly517 жыл бұрын
There is zero difference in ride, yes technically it would affect your alignment but i highly doubt a shop could even tell the difference let alone correct for it. Id say your good to go, just keep in mind if your flexing on say rocks that extra 1/2 inch of raise wont flex like 1/2 of raise in a new set of springs would. If that made sense haha

can you make a video why they are not good

Jamora did you ever try them out? I'm having the same issue, I got 20" rims & they're scrapping so they told me to try these spring expanders. I just need to know if they actually work!😭

Whats wrong with them why do you hate them because I was gonna get some and put on my truck and I want to know why there not good
@skyfly518 жыл бұрын
The threads almost stripped installing them, they rusted super fast, and after 3-6 it causes the spring to sag worse due to the fact it puts more stress on the remaining coils causing them to sag more
@dellanjones288122 күн бұрын
Do they make noise in rough road or going over potholes
@skyfly5122 күн бұрын
No they never made any noticable noise
@spydergs078 жыл бұрын
I put some on my Tacoma when I was 16. Hit a hard bump and one side fell out lol My truck was leaning. You can get good polyurathane coil spacers for like $50. Easy and they won't go out like rubber. These things are terrible on your coils and will eventually bend the bolts and your vehicle will lean to one side.

the coils sag so bad my Jeep is going to get skyjacker 3" lift springs in the rear
@192ali18 жыл бұрын
You never told us why they were so bad and discouraged us to install them. Would you please tell me the reason for not recommending it ? Thank you
@skyfly518 жыл бұрын
very hard to install, rusted super fast, they don't work because they put more stress on the remaining coils making them sag more
