I think some made a notch with a disc saw so it would deliberately break.. Putting the camera was not innocent

This is not natural. You probably weakened it on some point in the middle, where springs never break. I drove opels with this solution for decades. When rear spring breaks, it is on top or bottom. The spring wont fall off.

Not only was the spring cut, but was heated at the cut point to change the strength of it. Before the spring breaks you can see those spots are spray painted to hide the torch and cutter marks

In the 1970s I had a Opel manta two-door it was orange and black. Those were the same colors of our high school sharp little car ran like a scouting night for a four-cylinder. Had a couple of tweaks done to it. Love that vehicle. The day after I got it back from the paint shop after a new paint job hydroplaned hit another car and totaled it never saw any of the work that I see here underneath mine.

The suspension height barely changed after the spring broke. It will be fine without the spring! That vehicle must have the stiffest anti-roll bar in the world.

Yep! I had that happen on the front end of my '81 'K-car' at about 144,000 miles! It's always kind of scary when you're driving along, and then you hear a clanging noise! Fortunately I was only driving like 5-10 miles an hour, when when I heard it!

Coil spring was paid. The vehicle and physics were also paid to stay quiet and upright(not collapse) in case this happens. Camera man wasn't pàid appropriately thus this footage is exposed.

Именно так. За 20 лет езды у меня сломались две пружины и в обоих случаях крайний виток (снизу/сверху). Не заметил бы даже, если бы колеса не менял. Даже обломки в посадочных местах остались.

why would you design the rear shock so its directly connected to the spring housing and why at that angle and not straight up and down so the shock can actually absorb the bump and the spring doesnt take most of the tension

Newly installed spring, likely partially chopped through with a grinder. A regular spring would rarely, if ever, do this.

This is not how a spring breaks up. Usually happens at top end one or two turns will break and the spring will remain in place but the car side will slightly collapse and the spring will become softer

that's materials fatigue, some where in tempering the coil it has very low flexibility due to sudden colling after extremely heating in manufacturing process , or excessive hardner quantity in processing
