Күн бұрынI recommend Broadway Static Super Low or BC Extreme Low depending on budget. Be specific about the spring length that you want! I find 5" springs to be most effective. always upgrade to Swift Springs if you can. This is the first video of a series I will be doing covering different aspects of coilovers.

Very good video. Very informative.. only thing I’m having trouble with is picturing how low you’re talking when you say “super low”.. also how much longer do swift springs last vs standard. Most ppl only recommend swift for track use..

Bottomline is that Swift is superior but I don't have quantifiable data for them vs standard. As for super low, I am talking about the ability to literally lower the car till the frame is on the ground. This also depends on variables of wheel, tire and camber as well tho.

What’s your thoughts on extended top hats on bc extreme low coils with 5” springs ?

That usually does the trick as long as the strut body is short enough!

They have the same thread! I actually have BC lower mounts on my front Broadway struts. I will try to make a video on FLCAs. My friend is supposed to be installing them soon!

Your thought on swift springs on raceland? I know it's gonna be terrible but Bc and Broadway don't make coilovers for my mk6 vw jetta. I currently have raceland and want to go lower and stiffer

If I had to choose any spring, I'd choose a Swift Spring!

I am maxed out on my bc coils wanna go lower running the stock 7in spring it comes with do I upgrade to a 5in???

That’ll allow you to go lower by either freeing up threads to move the lower mounts upward or you can sag the spring if the mount doesn’t have any more room to go upwards.

You may have to look into shorter spring and helper to get lower via utilizing some piston depression.

Super Low with Premium Springs. Just add in your desired spring rate!

I wonder how big of a difference there is from me (race lands with washers) to you broadway with 100k spring rate 😂 eventually I’ll build my car right but this works for now

Alexander Haavisto always been under the impression that a stiff ride is gonna be a stiff ride so I just went hockey pucks/washer route

@@user96782 if a shorter spring will enable you to go lower, 4” with same spring rate or adding a helper should help. I’m assuming you have the 5” springs

Of course. My favorite setup for spirited driving was my 14k Swift Broadways.
