I made my own bracket but now the bumper won’t go in like the metal bracket is stopping it from going into place…. the metal is some thin aluminum I don’t really see what my issue is? I cut the notch in and bent it to align with the bumper?

It’s possible it may be too thick or not pressed tight enough up against the lip of the bumper. That’s the only things I can think of.

Don't know if you got it sorted, but my top is to use liquid wrench penetrant, it is the best. There is a guy who did a in depth test of a lot of different penetrants and liquid wrench was the best. It really wicks in there and does it's job when you give it time to work. I was almost able to pull mine out by hand.

You may have to look into shorter spring and helper to get lower via utilizing some piston depression.

hey man i installed racer x upper control arms (-9 to -14) and pbm lowers the issue im having is the tire/rim is hitting the inside of the car due to the camber im literally running like -7 on stocks how would i go about adjusting the upper control arm so its not hitting would i have to have an even amount of camber from both the lowers and uppers because the uppers are almost maxed negative wise and the lowers are at max postive and its still hitting
@Alexhaav6 ай бұрын
You’re setting yourself up for axle bind with the uppers maxed and the lowers set shorter than stock. I would recommend swapping the lowers back to oem and setting the uppers more positive or run stock uppers with lowers adjusted accordingly. Honestly tho, the easiest solution would be to just run wheel spacers.
@user967826 ай бұрын
could i adjust the lowers to close to oem spec and then adjust the uppers to be more positive? idk if a spacer would work only because the spec of the wheels im running are 18x11.5 +17 so it would stick out hella 😭

@@user96782 those wheels are way too big. I would never recommend running anything wider than a 10 or 10.5. Shouldn’t take that much camber but getting those to fit comfortably beneath the fender with a tire will not be fun.

What do you mean by that? Like camber settings from the top hat or the lower mount?
@ronaldcagnina7877 ай бұрын
My bad but the specific video you're showing that is the driver side so if the bottom is faced out in the upper is faced in would you reverse that process on the passenger side meaning the are on the bottom would be faced the other way and the bolt on the top would be faced inward or is it the same set up I figure lower pointing out would be lower pointing out on the passenger side please reply I have a 2006 Ford f150 I think I only need to do one bolt on this year on this year Alexis controlled by the two bolts on the upper arm thank you
@Alexhaav7 ай бұрын
If you’re referring to maximum camber, it will always be top facing in and bottom facing out. For trucks, they usually use double wishbone suspension in the front, so these concepts will not work unless you have a MacPherson system.

My coils rn are 62ID would it be safe to run a 60id?
@Alexhaav7 ай бұрын
See if you have to delete the spring isolator to fit 60ID if it is the raised design (ie BC). But other than that, if the metal perch itself will fit it, then you’re good.
