kek has a bunch of competing L1s but not the tech that will make them all useful when staking, CCIP and DECO all get released in the coming months. Chain value capture is bound to blocks / throughput while the data layer (decentralized generalized oracle protocol with no cross-dependencies) has exposure to actual contract value and has no limitations short of global economic productivity. Chains have no direct value capture from a contract worth 1$ or 1 trillion - Chainlink does/will.

Personally I suspect it’s a buy the rumour sell the news situation. BTC dominance is low and ETH BTC ratio is high, so back to Bitcoin we go :) although I am a BTC maximalist at heart….. Plus BTC reserves on exchanges is very low, which is a good sign.

Will the merge be successful? Will Sol and others be a hedge? The simple answer....... "How long is a piece of string ". The only constants are a bear market and over regulation. Keep that in mind when doing your own research. Good luck to all.

I would love to hear your sentiments about the recent CPI % release hours ago and where will BTC go from here. As for the ETH merge, despite it coming near, the market price doesn't correlate to the huge progress, that I don't really understand. I'm gonna keep my eyes on these massive news as I still keep my IRIS and PGEN staked for passive income and future allocations after Sportzchain on Polygen.

Yeah, I agree. Solana was never even really questionable for me. Architecture is light years ahead of everything else and very pragmatic. Team handled network flooding issue properly and everything else is pretty good and constantly improving. Decentralization and security is great, close to 2k validators (1,997 specifically), Nakamoto coef. high (over 24). I still miss few things like better privacy (issue for all semi-transparent L1) and spam asset filtering (issue for all L1 with cheap transactions) but it will eventually be there. Ecosystem is great and booming, DeFi, NFT, gaming or whatever else you pick. Sure some projects are scams or rug pulls but hey... welcome to the real world. Network is open to use or to build upon for everyone. Robust and growing project with 1st class team and community. Considering all that, the current price looks laughable to me. Other L1s, some of them are legacy, some other are also not that bad, yet not good enough, some of them are terrible. And if you rather prefer closed corrupted perfectly censored and regulated totalitarian system, pick CBDC and enjoy your safe prison. (NFA)
