Well, Churchill did trigger famines in India during WW2 killing millions, and used about (if I remember correctly) about 400,000 Indian slaves in the British army to fight in Europe.

The British Raj only used volunteer soldiers because if they started conscription in India there would be *no* way they would be able to quell the rebellion. Additionally, he wasn't the cause of the famines. He definitely blamed it on them because all available food shipments that didn't need to go to Britain went to India and he was a racist, but he didn't cause them.

Been seriously considering getting a cat. The only thing stopping me is financial security. I don't want to bring someone (a cat) into my life if i'm not sure i can take care of them. My parents are willing to let me take any cat from the farm and my sister has been trying to pawn off kittens on me for almost a year now. But i also haven't been completely alone; i visit my parents to help in the garden at least once every two weeks

@@Kinikia95 It is a big loss to the world. As many have pointed out, not only was he a mastermind and virtuoso, but he had fun playing. So many guitar players (Eddie composed and played other instruments, of course) look angry and unhappy while playing. Eddie was intense and would make faces at certain times while getting into it, but a lot of the time he would be jamming away with that silly grin on his face. It was really heartbreaking for me to hear that he died. I love all of the VH releases (well, not VH3, except for Without You), but I was 15 when 1984 came out and that was a BIG DEAL for me, and still is.

I'm a u.s.citizen, I live here. I sincerely hope the events of 2020 have ripped off people's blinders and made them see! What made America great was the can do spirit. What we have now is, eh I don't wanna. We need to wake up and get off our butts. Take a train or a bus. A little inconvenience here or there and we the consumers take back some control from major corporations. We have so many divisions, social, race, monetary, cultural and sub cultural...on and on. The PTBs of our country have used this against us for generations. So many Americans don't even know they're being manipulated. Distracted by keeping up with the Jones so we don't pay attention to their outright robbery of things we as citizens have rights to. We're so busy fighting each other we can't see the lie. I had a mild case of COVID and was quarantined from 03/17/2020 to 04/18/200 to be on the safe side, early in the PLEAGUE. I was SICK AS A HOUND DOG!! I got an MD that said I was clear. Having THE COVID is a yes or no question. There is no in-between. If he's clear that his test is negative and there is no question. The fact that Trump won't say is a big, NO.
