What a surprise..I heard he was a bit difficult to interview and I remember him with a TV presenter called Mariella Frostrop..and he was a bit 'curt' with her..but he was great with Stephen...maybe age has mellowed him..or maybe his horse has unsaddled him a couple of times😊

@Diana Mitford I will give it a shot as how I see the meaning. It is like a ripple in a pond. You do a thing here and it's effect spreads to affect a vast amount of area. When you do a kindness the recipient is made better and much more likely to pass a kindness on. When you do a hurtful thing it too is passed on. Where does one small act's affect end?

Absolutely true. I worked at a zoo for abotu a decade, and did daily work with an American Alligator named Fred. After 13 years, I went back to visit the zoo with my family, and Fred not only crossed the pen when I started speaking to him, he remembered his 'nod yes when asked if he wants a chicken wing' trick.. which the curator said he hadn't preformed in at least 10 years. Animals aren't 'people like us'.. but they're people of their own kind.. and there is definitely 'somebody home', whether we recognize it or not.
@rhondah1587

Yes and even backyard birds can recognize people who put seed in a bird feeder regardless of what clothes they are wearing. That means they recognize faces. We sorely underestimate the intelligence of our fellow animals. My two little dogs have a sense of fairness as well. They can recognize if one gets a bigger treat than the other and will sulk over the injustice. Their ability to learn and understand so much of human language is also amazing while we tend to learn very little of theirs.

@@annmariebuscema6506 I have also seen videos where dolphins recognize themselves in mirrors. When a sticker is placed on the dolphin, it swims over to the underwater mirror and looks at where the sticker is on itself. Saw where a trainer asks a small group of dolphins to make up a new trick and they do it. Evidence they have imaginations and can communicate with each other to be creative. I have also seen videos where in a Japanese bay, each year they slaughter dolphins by the thousands until the bay is nothing but blood, not for food but because they believe the dolphins eat too many fish. Outrage is my only emotion.

@@rhondah1587 - what is it with Asian cultures and animal abuse? Right now a horror show called the Yulin Dog Meat Festival is taking place in China. They torture and skin dogs and cats alive, then cook them in front of a baying sub human crowd. The same sort of thing happens in South Korea. I just don't understand how they can carry out these atrocities against innocent animals.

Thank-you Mr. Crowe for talking to George about the award you achieved together... I would like to know more about George because he looks just like the horse that singled out Lochlan and I at the Royal Fair... the horse came right out from the back of the stall and loved us up with the most gentle and intense greeting... Lochlan was on my back in a child carrier and we stood still and greeted the horse in same affectionate and curious manner-I would call it, patient reverence... imagine if the horse was one of George’s friends... or even a horse that knows of the award winning George... the gladiator spirit might have been recognized because I have always been a phenomena of warrior spirit and perhaps the horse noticed something about my child and I because his approach was super touching and I actually let him super close to us... you see, I’m afraid of horses and letting the horse get close to us was a miracle... it was one of the most lovely miracles we had ever experienced... I’ll never forget the utter love that seemed to pour out of the horses’ attitude toward us and his or her attention to us was truly magical. I hope all horses similar to George know how cherished they are and thank-you for chatting with George... by the way... I study synchronicity and Russel was by far the leading actor popping up in many of my synch experiences and experiments... perhaps Russel is true magic... wouldn’t that be amazing! Acknowledging that Russel Crowe is a magic being of phenomena... the awe and delight of these studies and experiences are evidence of something to pay attention too; the reason I pay attention is because I believe and I have witnessed and experienced miraculous healing within these studies and experiences-may George and Russell be celebrated for their performances-GIPW!

Russell’s a Kiwi and does not get caught up in the ego trips that seem to be the need of most celebrities. Horses know and love the people who care for them. See the film Warhorse, it’s amazing, heartbreaking and a true story.

He was clarifying for the audience and his viewers how interesting that was as it had been ten years. He seemed legitimately surprised as well. Perhaps he could have waited to express that afterwards, but the interview was very short, so he undoubtedly wanted to make sure the audience was aware.

Alexander Johnson thank you. Came here to say that. The whole point of chiming in was to make the audience aware of the ten year gap between gladiator and Robin Hood. I thought Robin Hood came out in 04 or some shit, it’s one of the only Ridley Scott films I haven’t seen so I appreciated him saying something.
