what if hartley was from a villain family and was taken in by celia (possibly a hero or secret agent) and when she was taken in and given a home she decided to take on a happy and good persona to stay hidden and safe

Not gonna lie, this does make sense and I hope it’s true to some extent. Also another piece of evidence I have for this theory is that in a new trailer for TVOVV, it shows hartily with what looks like the same energy ball that shadow has and it said in the trailer that hartily gets powers. Now this very well could be shadow taking hartily’s form but in the trailer, it didn’t really point to that but I could be wrong. Nevertheless if this is hartily unlocking some sort of her powers, then that may prove that she was born under a superhero/villains name. Thus this is when your theory comes into play. Nevertheless this is a really good theory and I hope it’s true to some extent

Is it possible Vic made a machine to make Celia, Colby,Eva, Hartley, Amy, Jake and himself forget about Harleys mom being a superhero and about her dating Vic? this theory has some truth because also in the episode when starling quits hartley says I promised not to tell anyone my grandmas real name isn't ceila and then she said they had to swear not to tell anyone

I have a new theory Celia was a secret agent she has a variety of weapons and in season 1 episode 13 it's been said she has things like suction shoes and night googles. And Hartley maybe isn't really her granddaughter maybe she's someone she saved on a mission.
