Great advice because between years 10-20 there are huge differences when and how physical growth is peaking. Of course there are individual differences in all but some might have big differences in size, but eventually at 20 be pretty much the same size.

Another such is Anthony Gordon.. agility n technique vs bulk n power.. any player will naturally bulk up as they age.. look at conor gallagher now.. those who bulk too early an age have very short careers - fact.
@adhynugroho94245 ай бұрын
That's what all kids should do. Work on technique first and foremost. I've always assumed that bulking is relatively easier than the other aspects of the development.
@hudsonquayАй бұрын
Unfortunately when I was at an academy there wasn't as much emphasis placed on technique. I was released because I was too small. They kept guys who were physically well developed but they were dog shit technique wise. The irony is I developed late. By the time I was 16 I was 6,2" but gangly. By the time I was 18 I had packed on a lot of muscle but by then it was too late. I ended up playing non-league. Not saying I should've been a pro or anything just pointing out how out of touch English coaching was 20 years ago.
@juvanfm22Ай бұрын
@@hudsonquay what about the opposite? at least you played football, even if it was in non league. take the example of fc barcelona, who put majority of their focus in training on technique and neglected physicality. what happened was that a lot of their players were injured and they had to turn to academy players, thereby ruining their season xavi simmons left barca for the same reason so don't underestimate physicality sorry for the message being too long

That's coming from a blues fan.. rashford shouldn't even be considered! If Southgate picked his squad on current form England have a chance but he won't and I wouldn't be surprised if he called up heskey

I pray England keep Southgate. England does probably have the best national squad in the world, but English people and English fans make liking the English basically impossible.
