I’ll give you a tip that I learned along time ago. Put your garden hose in the hot tub or even a pool. Turn your water on like your filling it up. Wait a minute then shut your water off then quickly unscrew it from the spigot and drop the hose on the ground. It will create a suction that will drain the water. You might have to do this a time or two but it does work

Fun fact! The pump should be level so that way it has the best chance to get rid of any air bubbles out of the system. A pump that’s tilted can hold air bubbles in different corners in the heater. I have taken my pump housing off to clean the inside of it and the way the heaters on these things as well as the intex spas are crazy. The water comes in and hits two 90 degree elbows then a straight away for six inches then another two 90 degree elbows and a second 6 inch straight away then two more 90 degree elbows and then through a thermostat and then out the discharge. It’s an awful set for air getting trapped but they got to do what they got to do to make things fit I guess

Thanks. Put insulation board panels under it to stabilize the bottom and insulate it. I put up a sail to keep the tree stuff off the tub. Clean the filter every week. I use hot water so it melts the oily skin stuff quickly from the filters.

Want a 3 and 4 year review. Spa set up and upkeep is fairly easy, pump/ heater longetivity is a huge issue. 2 months to 1 tear is not acceptable for my budget anyway.

Put a net on top of the wood part to capture any debris that's falling. I am gonna put mine in my sun room. I want mine to last a long long time. My only issue is we have a cat so I am gonna have to put a tarp over it and caps on the cats nails to make sure that cat does not make any holes. Thanks for the share.

Do you have to shut the whole thing off when you clean the filter and add the bromine? No where does it tell me if I have to turn the whole thing off, or the filter off or what to do lol

Any tips on quieting the motor? Mine is so loud when we want bubbles. So we turned it off, and it is much quieter, had my son fart inside, but it was not as effective as we thought it would be. Then we all got straws and blew into them but that was exhausting. Just didn't know if there were any hacks on how to somewhat reduce the sound of the motor when we want that bubble action 🤔. Thanks in advance #BudgetAmySchumer. 😉😚🙃
