To be clear, I'm not for or against any company based on the demographics of their ownership. I judge a business on how good of a business it is...period. The same way I'm not for or against a sports team based on demographics but which team has the best chance of winning. Seems like common sense, but in today's environment common sense is very uncommon. What I don't like is individuals and entities that claim to have a belief system when in reality it's simply a marketing ploy. Finally, I think people should be given a position based on their skills, not their gender or skin color. Why fight discrimination by discriminating?

I wouldn’t want a position/promotion based on my gender alone. I can say I’ve been turned down for positions I was more than qualified for because the leader of the division didn’t appreciate a strong female. I was also rejected for a position once because the interviewer asked if my husband(at the time) would approve me going to different countries for months at a time & if I had plans of getting pregnant. 😑
