If you are implying that Kaepernick was not a good passing quarterback you are wrong. They showed these highlights because what he did running is what separated him from other quarterbacks. Notice how many of these plays he turned certain sacks into huge gains or touchdowns. Without his running ability, the 49ers would have not come anywhere near playoffs in 2012 and 2013. He completed nearly 60% of his passes in his career. Watch him take Packers apart in 2012. He made a mistake early then put up 45 points. 253 yards in the air and two passing touchdowns, both perfectly thrown strikes to Michael Crabtree plus the 181 yards on the ground two rushing touchdowns. Note the perfectly thrown ball to Davis that travels 45 yards in the air. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bNh4ish1tLC9dIE.html

@mirlenmal6302 жыл бұрын
@@archiejackson2315 hell no, kaepernick sucks. He had 1.5 decent years. Once defenses adapted to his running he was neutralized and he couldn't adapt. He CANNOT read defenses. Went 3-16 his last 2 years. He had opportunities to play but he wouldn't humble himself to being a backup and proving he belonged still. He only kneed for the national anthem because he was mad that he got benched for terrible play for the past 2 years. He wanted the spotlight on himself. Man's a pussy.

Kaep wasn't a top tier quarterback by any means but he was definitely good enough to earn a roster spot or even a start for a team in transition. Regardless of your opinion on him and what he stands for you cant deny the objective fact that no team is going to bring him in with the controversy and media circus that is sure to surround wherever he goes. I truly don't believe its personal or because the NFL is racist. No team wants all that nonfootball related attention. Certainly not for a QB who is slightly above average at best.

He would still have his job if he did his kneeling after George Floyd. Respect that man
@gelb5982 жыл бұрын
@@azmneb oh no doubt, for sure he would, but unfortunately he did it prior and we all know how it played out. My team (ravens) tried to bring him in then his girl posted some dumb stuff and ruined that. And then that workout he switched it up on the teams to do it on his own terms which no team was bout to rock with, and ruined that. A part of me thinks he doesnt really want to play that bad. He had chances to come back (albeit few) but he self sabotaged. A part of me thinks he doesnt really want to play again and stands to gain more from being out of the league than in it. But thats just my opinion, if a team gives him a chance and he takes it, ill be happy for him.

I've only recently started to follow NFL and only knew of Colin because of his stand/kneeling. Have to say that some impressive running with the ball. If he could of developed his passing to the same level he could of been special. We'll never know now though.
