This was the bears defense that had scored 8 touchdowns and had a safety or two 10 games into the season. Our defense looked unstoppable and Kaepernick tore us up. It was one of the best performances by a QB I’ve seen

You can see kaps lack of touch on a lot of these throws. He’s still decent though, better than a lot of QBs on rosters this year.

Yeah, it's almost as if coaching matters. We went from Harbaugh to Jim Tomsula whk had never even been a coordinator. Then we got Chip Kelly who's college offense didn't work in the NFL. Still, he had a 90.7 rating his last season.

Just like I've always thought it the real reason kap was put out this is his first game and I wonder what he's stats would be right now that is why I stand with kap.

I remember watching this game and when they said Kaepernick, I remember thinking, “isn’t that the guy that Beat Boise St at its peak by himself? Why can’t you people admit that he’s unemployed because he hurt your feelings? Stop saying he was a terrible football player. You can’t be taken seriously doing that...He’d be at least in the middle of the pack today...There are at least 15 guys stealing money from football teams that he should have a job over if football was really a meritocracy.

TheDCGuitar13 why aren’t you doing more then? If he’s so good and he’s only not playing because he ‘hurt our feelings’ why don’t you leave your job and start your own cause just like he did? He isn’t good anymore because his production started to decline, it happens with age and it happens when defense and defensive coordinators figure your playing skill level out. Why can’t *you people* accept the fact this isn’t 2012 anymore, or whatever year it was when they played the ravens in the SB.

Alright but when he came back his team around him was shit and it showed. He progressively got worse and he should have removed his politics from the NFL games. It is like if you were to have a job and you walk up to your boss and say I am not doing my work because I am black and feel oppressed in America. They will fire your ass. This is entitlement regardless of being true or not. You don’t discuss politics on the job! Just because it was happening in America does not mean that it isn’t happening anywhere else and it was giving to much controversy to the NFL. Why do you think AB is gone from the NFL! Just look at the clowns and you’ll see the truth.

I miss you Kaep. Who were accurate enough to make plays, short, medium and deep, had a very strong arm and could make plays with your legs. Just needed to improve seeing the whole field and i think thats something you would of overcame if you were still playing. Smh this isn’t right. The man got kicked out the NFL just for kneeling to prove that america is truly jacked up

He wasn’t anymore. Not after defenses figured him out. He regressed like a lot of qb’s who don’t make it over the hump. Don’t believe me? See his ‘14-‘16 seasons and how he was benched for Blaine Gabbert, etc. Kaep couldn’t learn to play in the pocket, held the ball for way too long, stared down receivers, got sacked a lot... Facts.

@@epalomo5561 wrong wrong wrong. Yes his play went down but that wasn't entirely his fault. New coaches and staff destroyed the whole team which didn't help his play. He still had way better numbers than alot of QBs in the league today. All the ignorant bashers cant read numbers and like to go with the MAGA narrative.

If kap would of would of still been a 49er he would have had big highlights. He had a decent stats 2016 on a bad team and he was coming off 2 surgeries and not 100 percent yet. I could just imagine on a good team and healthy he would be a monster again

I definitely think CK is one of those players that plays better with better players around him and that’s still a ton of QB’s today in the NFL. But he was also inconsistent too which I didn’t like either...Oh and he couldn’t beat the Seahawks
