I used to hate saxophone music until I heard his work... I've never heard something so otherworldly weird and beautiful at the same the. Their collab is amazing, they're both such talented artists! I'm dreaming of hearing them live one time

no matter how much i listen to colin stetson i will never fail to be amazed at how beautifully he plays, and the violin factors in a feeling of something almost like fear, unsettling in the song. it's ethereal
@FlavioDeBern925 жыл бұрын
when i first heard the original recording i perceived it as some sort of obscure synth ambient/idm/avant-garde stuff that you'd expect from a collab of michael gira and amon tobin. turns out it's real instruments. 11/10 would listen again.

And it's JUST a saxophone and violin, damn, I think Mr. Stetson has achieved the peak of saxophone mastery.

You can get tons of overtones on a big sax like that. Plus, he also sings into the horn. And on top of that, he's circular breathing. Constantly blowing out while taking in air through his nose.

Colin Stetson uses circular breathing to do several sounds at once with his saxophone, on his albums he frequently maintains 4 internal and several external sounds.

@francisbroka94717 жыл бұрын
@guillaumedalino86147 жыл бұрын
@francisbroka94717 жыл бұрын
