I love the “Happy” page with the elephant! I don’t like a lot of white spaces, I guess I’m a maximalist. The yellow paint as a background just makes the page perfect, I’m going to steal that idea, hope you don’t mind. I feel so inspired😁 Barb in Cali

Diane: I haven’t tried a composition collage book yet. I might though. I kinda like working in one to three things at once. I don’t want to get overwhelmed with it all. I just want to have fun and relax. Carol from California

As you could tell, I wasn't thrilled with the comp book, but a lot of people use one so go for it! Yeah, too many projects at once can be overwhelming; then it's hard to finish one too. TFW! 😃

I have just in the last year been saving bits for a gluebook. I love yours! I think for me it will be something I can do to Jumpstart and dump my ideas to get a fresh outlook. Make me think in a different way. I get bored easily so this is great for that. TFS friend. 😃🤩

Wow! May not be your favorite but your pages are great! I'd say add more collages to those empty pages. Max that baby out.

I enjoyed the gluebook flip-through and seeing how your approach morphed over time. Should you decide to make another one using a composition book, you might consider this option. Find the center of the book and snip the stitching that holds the book together. Remove as many pages as you like, then use a 3-hole pamphlet stitch to bind the remaining pages. Ta da! A more manageable number of pages with no need to leave blank ones.

I mostly use loose 8.5x11 paper covered on both sides and bind them myself. Or I find large like about 11x16 vintage scrapbooks at thrift shops and fill those up. I don't care for bulging over thick books that won't close properly or have lots of stuff overlapping and sticking out the sides of the book, but to each thier own and I do think those are kind of cool but not for me. But I have done 2 composition books and wow, I loved it so much, filled up 200 pages in 2 weeks. It got kind of heavy, it got really fat and I just tied a ribbon around it to hold it closed. You can see it if you go to my own KZfaq page, it is one of my most popular videos, so it is easy to find.

Dianne, I love how it turned out. Doesn't it feel great to have a finished journal? I really don't remember since it's been so long since I actually finished one. LOL. Blessings, Helen

Me again, love this book!!! So fun 📓 More on the “noise”: It seems when you touch your table it’s worse, maybe you have a tabletop (super sensitive) mic? If that’s the case maybe a nice thick towel underneath wd stop the “wind” noise (???) Or if it has a gainer dial, dial it down a tiny bit. Not being a troll, genuinely trying to help make your videos better. When the crickets were being noisy (another video) it sounded like they were in the room with you. It seems like the mic is picking up every every every little thing (traffic?? even)

Thanks for the comment on the glue book. I just use a phone, no special mic, so I don't know what to say about what you are hearing. Yes, in good weather I have my windows open so it is going to pick up other sounds; there's really nothing I can do about that. Thanks for the info. 🙂
