Agreed, I would say this is a junk journal based on being made of an eclectic assortment of pages, and being used as a glue book, meaning it is mainly collage work. Any journal can be used for anything, whatever you use it for is what kind of journal it is. They are all wonderful to work in and look through!

To me a glue book is something you use your imagination to create by covering pages of old books and magazines with images you cut out yourself from anything (newspapers, magazines, any kind of book, mail order catalogues, wrapping paper and the list goes on. Flowers, images, words or phrases, etc. I just glue these cut outs or tear outs to decorate the pages however I like and cover the entire page front and back..Having to buy a glue book that someone else has made to sell takes the fun out of the creative process.

Hi, Lorena. If I want to apply an image to a hard cover book, I usually use mod podge, but I do get wrinkles, which I don't mind. However, you can use a silicone based glue, like fabri-tac or 3-in-1 glue (both are by Beacon). Because they are silicone based and not water based, they don't wrinkle. You will have to use a card or stick or something to spread the glue evenly on your image before you apply it. i hope this helps.

Thanks for subscribing, Debra! The list book was a daily list I did just until I ran out of pages. Several months. It was fun. I just don't have time to keep up with something like that. (I got ideas for lists from a site called Listers Gotta List from the Reset Girl)

If it's thin, like a magazine image, I use glue stick (Elmers Extra Strength is what I use). For something textured or heavier weight, I use Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue. I find that one in the craft stores. Also available on Amazon.

I use a sturdy piece of chipboard (heavy cardboard), reinforced with Tyvek. I cover the spine with fabric.

Where do you purchase the Tyvec from

Depending on the piece I'm gluing, I use a glue stick (Elmer's Extra Strength), or Scotch white glue. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I’ve never used it, but maybe if you spray the chalk with a fixative after you use it, it wouldn’t rub off.

My main income is from the journals I make. I make lots of glue books. They just don't stay in my shop very long. They usually sell within hours of being put in the shop. There are journal making supplies in my shop, also, not just digitals. I don't make much money from digitals.
