Additionally, during this video presented as a comprehensive gameplay showcase/guide: - Every second of combat (the vast majority of presented gameplay) showed Zhongli using his *DPS focused signature weapon* to solo even elite enemies. They kept him normal attacking constantly, playing him as you would play a DPS carry instead of taking time to demonstrate his supportive abilities beyond passing remarks or examples of how they could keep *him, not his allies,* on the field longer. - The term "Max HP" was used exactly twice, once in regards to his shield scaling, and once in regards to *improving his damage* on his big, impressive Q. - Not once did they define him as a pure support tank character, as MHY would like you to believe. At best (in terms of falling in line with their post-release statement), they advertized him as a bruiser, capable of both defending allies by tanking and dealing *"enormous damage"* to enemies with normal attacks and Q. It is crystal clear if you look at all the official pre-release hype and gameplay showcases, as well as his current ascension stat (Geo DMG) and his signature weapon (a nat attack DPS weapon which was central to most of his marketing), that he was originally designed to be more DPS focused unit with some extra tanking capabilities that got shafted into the support role near immediately before his release (after most/all of his marketing material had already been produced and slated for release). This is without taking into consideration any of the leaks about his beta kit, although those certainly didn't help any. If we are silent or accepting about this bait and switch, MHY will take that as confirmation that we, as their players, are approving of these underhanded tactics. Thus, it is for the long term benefit of this game and its community that we must *not move on from this* until they have remedied their many major mistakes (not just this one, but the numerous other problems like account security and the resin system as well).
