The primary driver of the price difference is Bobby Orr, but also the 71 Orr is a bit condition sensitive. They're often off center and any bit off center throws off the card's eye appeal because the frames of the image comes so close to the left/right edges. They can also have ink dots on the front.

Vintage hockey is really undervalued. If it isn't Howe, Orr, or Gretzky you can get really good deals.

Lemieux rookies seem awesome. Some people argue Lemieux was better than Gretzky, and Lemieux dealt with severe back issues *and* Hodgkins lymphoma. Even after his comeback in the 2000's Lemieux was a dominant player.

Great episode for an awesome "tournament". Jeremy Lee did great but I had the "Snowman" - I now think this is rigged - Snowman Jeremy knows a lot more than the other contestants thought....LOL....Just kidding. Snowman takes it all. Thanks for this Mr. Sewall.

I feel like the 71 Orr is much more of an iconic card, which would naturally increase the desirability/value.

II thought so as well. But there's just a smaller pool of hockey collectors. They do have their own country though. And Canada, I believe is the closest country to the United States. So, you would think by proxy that hockey would be somewhat more popular in the states, too. Hmm. I will say this, the NHL playoffs are exciting. If I could go to any playoff game for any sport...they would be pretty high up on my list.

Round 1: Mahomes. I am not too surprised about this result. Just because it's a ''10''. Any other grade for the Mahomes, Jordan probably wins it. Round 2: Orr: Because he's a top 10-ish NHL player. I don't know much as much about Hull. It would just have been a educated guess. Round 3: Mantle is always the answer...well almost always the answer. Round 4: I guess the factors here are, Trout injured. Again. And McDavid, is in the NHL playoffs...Sidney Crosby is better though. Round 5: Howe, makes sense just because it's older, and less supply. Round 6: A tough one. There's a bit more premium here, since it's still Mays early-ish career. I really love the '59 Topps set. This was a tough round. A well fought out battle. Great job to the 2 Jeremy's. But since Danny lost. I knew the balance would be back in the favor... for the Texas Snowman. Congrats, Donson! 😇 It's just business Jeremy Lee. Nothing personal. Ha ha

@@ACD1994These were easier than usual. Chris is always tricking to trick & mess with his friends. If it was just some random dude doing this without a “gotcha” moment I think these guys would have got everyone right. The hardest one imo was the Bobby Hull/Orr one which was Orr because of how popular he is.
