Yes and no, yes it sucks that your body is being the subject of the jokes especially when you put it behind a pay wall for the reason you don't want "Just anyone" to see it but at the same time the people In the group chats were like, 15, trying to be "besties" with Colleen as she was their idol, they don't know that this is a horrible thing to do. It's like trying to fit in with the popular people. I hope now that they are older they realise that they were in the wrong and they shouldn't have just followed blindly, learning from this experience. If they want to apologise I'm sure Trisha would accept that with open arms but they were manipulated after all. They were just following the puppet master. Personally I don't think they NEED to owe Trisha an apology so long they have learned from their mistakes but I'm so sure that an apology from them towards trisha would be super accepted. It shows they are remorseful and realise that they were wrong.

Doesn’t mean they aren’t victims before someone attacks me. I’m just saying being a victim doesn’t excuse your nasty behavior either.

You make a fair point. I think being 15 and making they jokes as your idol makes sence that you wouldn't realise how bad that is but you make a fair point that now they understand that this was bad they should message her and apologise for being nasty but tbh is that going to hurt Trisha more seeing all these people telling her they were body shaming her. I feel so bad that Colleen put Tricia through this humiliation. And I hope that everyone understands that Tricia isn't humiliated because of the content that she makes, but because a person that she thought was a friend held her up as a person to be ridiculed to her fans, friends, and fellow youtubers. Colleen really is a mean girl.

Then Adam and the other guy put her through it again. Instead of just DMing her with the screenshots, they harrassed her publicly. Then they just posted all of that publicly on Twitter. No different than Colleen. Trisha could still stand by Colleen and agree what Colleen did was wrong. Trisha has fucked up plenty of times online and through all of it, no one who ever claimed to be her friend stuck by her. Her mental health condition comes with a fear of betrayal and abandonment that is counterbalanced in them being fiercely loyal in their relationships. She wanted to still be Colleen's friend, regardless of whether these things were true or not. At the end of the day, Trisha gave what she would have wanted when she was at her worst. "Even when the internet is right". That may not make sense to people online, but black and white thinking is extremely dangerous for people with her disorder. It's a shade of Grey to still call Colleen a friend while acknowledging that what she did was not okay. Wanting her friend to apologize properly and that these kids were hurt so just say sorry, even if you don't understand. Because that is what Trisha is being taught in therapy. You actively see her working through her coping skills that she has learned in therapy. And she is extending that grace to everyone. You can do bad things and not be a bad person. You CAN be a bad person, do bad things and still be good to those who matter to you. So you get someone who actually is not treating this bs like drama, isn't looking to cancel anyone and is just wanting to be a good friend while still knowing that their friend fucked up and is taking a pounding from the internet. Even if it is deserved, Trisha is not a bad person for still trying to be Colleen's friend. Adam and this other kid however are just two little mini-colleens. Trisha was silent on everything, minding her business, living her life and wanted to be a good friend. Because she didn't respond to them publicly calling her out and her blocking them, they then escalate to public humiliation to get the response they want. Trisha never should have had to make any statement. They should have done all of this privately. Trisha has fucked up, she's shown in how she handled this that she is really fucking trying to be better. Then she gets dragged back to the fucking starting line by all these hateful little gremlins who lack all maturity. Adam saying Trisha isn't a good person, frankly, she's currently better than him. She's not looking to cancel Colleen, he is. Everyone has always hated Trisha for her meltdowns and trying to weaponize public outrage against people who hurt her. But Adam does it and it's okay? Nothing Colleen did prior to possibly sending porn to minors was illegal and could all have been fixed with a truly authentic apology. Trisha responded appropriately. No Adam, you aren't going to weaponkze me either. Colleen may have fucked up, may have really hurt you, but what she did wasn't ACTUALLY damaging to you in a way that an apology couldn't fix. Even Adam says as much because that's what he's demanding from Colleen. It also is not lost to me that neither of those boys sent Trisha screenshots. Adam STILL has not shown any proof to the pictures being sent to him. And if they really wanted to reach out to Trisha, they could have ALWAYS made secondary accounts and sent the screenshots. Trisha didn't deserve this from ANY of these people. Adam is no better than Colleen. They were all her pets for a reason, and they learned from her well. Trisha deserves infinitely better. Especially where she is in her recovery and management. She's making progress and shit like this can really set that back. All because Adam thought he was entitled to apologies from everyone who even talked to colleen.

Someone else in the comments mentioned this as well, but you should definitely look into the two books that Colleen made. Both are made for kids (the publishing company literally has "Kids" in the name) yet are filled with INSANELY inappropriate content, photos of kids who definitely didn't consent to being surrounded by sexual content and innuendos (on the same page), and so on. Everything Colleen has done is genuinely evil.

I feel like Trisha has grown up a lot since having her kid. I know she’s done a lot in the past, including hurting communities I’m a part of myself, but she handled this so maturely. Besides the fact she betrayed and was horrible to someone who treated her so kindly as a friend, the thing that boggles my mind is the fact that what she did was illegal sexually predatory behaviour. Sending nudes to minors, downloaded off a sight that has an 18 age minimum on it, that’s literal potential jail time. I really hope this comes back to bite her legally, because talk about a whole new level of evil.

I feel like Trisha suffers from something mentally. I have BPD and I see a lot of the similar traits in her. So when she did things like diagnose herself with DID, I wondered if what she was really experiencing was not identity disturbance which is a BPD trait, but she just didn't have the information available to articulate the problem in a non-problematic way. Impulsivity and emotional dysregulation all seem to be there to. I can't armchair diagnose her but I always did wonder if she was struggling with a very real problem that made her extremely problematic in the public sphere. I agree with you, I don't feel Trisha is an innately bad person and to me she often shows signs of insight and maturity and growth. So I hope the best for her and that she continues to heal. She does appear to be putting the work into her mental health, which is great.

I don’t support Trisha’s past and know she has said and done some very problematic things…but as someone with similar mental health issues, I cannot commend her enough for her growth. She’s clearly been in extensive therapy and her entire demeanor and mindset has matured so much. I know first hand how difficult that is and no matter how morally correct of a person she is, her growth and ability to become so mature in her responses is amazing on it’s own.

My take on the green paint is that it is plausible deniability just like so much of the other innuendo that Colleen does as both herself and Miranda (that green is extremely dark for the Wicked Witch of the West). The issue that I have is that the clip is apparently from 2009, the book was released in 2018. By then there would have been 100's of clips to choose from and yet this is the one that was attached to that QR code. It shouldn't need an explainer to clarify anything to do with it as anyone scanning the QR code isn't going to have that additional context.

With the face paint debacle, it really depends on the paint being used. Some body paints come off very easily (like face paint at a county fair) while some body paints are made to last (such a theatrical paint) and can be time consuming to take off. It would have made more sense for Colleen to wear something like cheep Halloween paint since, I assume, the bit she was doing was short. But at the same time, theatrical makeup and paint is made to withstand the heat of stage lighting and a performer’s perspiration, and Colleen is performing on stage. However, even if Colleen is innocently wearing green face paint, the woman has proven herself to be a repugnant racist in other ways.

I will have to respectfully disagree and say that motherhood makes it harder to grow and heal because it can be so hard to balance raising a child and how that can also be triggering. This is all work Trisha has done through counselling/ therapy and self work which is so admirable and takes effort

Trisha's video is such a grown up response to all the stuff that is going down! Really liked how calm and collected she talked about things. Colleen is just digging her own grave at the moment, she is not accepting responsibility for anything... This is honestly just sad. Can't believe she is a mother.

Trisha seems to have really grown as a person since having a kid, she handled that way better then even the person accused of it did, i feel so sorry for her, that your so called friend would not only share your photos and make fun of them to underage fans, which is sickening espeiclaly as in her past trisha was groomed underage, but to host viewing parties of them for groups to laugh is is horrendous!

My question for the single ladies thing.... Did she get off stage to change? If not why didn't she take off the paint. If she whipped off her Alphaba dress... Why didn't she put in a delay so she could at least wipe off the paint if she knew what song she was singing next? That's a PR nightmare, there's literally no way she didn't know what she was doing 🙄. Also, she's already shown she likes loopholes 'said i couldn't talk, but i sing'....maybe it's a case of 'I can't do black face... Nobody said anything about green face'. I don't want to assume the worst about her, but honestly the worst was messaging minors and being inappropriate to kids. Everything else is just another slow shake of the head.

I believe Colleen Ballinger has an arousal response to getting away with unacceptable behaviour. It’s not so much that she wants IRL intercourse with a minor, it’s that she knows that it’s totally inappropriate to do things with minors. I think she gets off on being able to control them & on them doing horrible things *for* her

Adam said Trish outing Colleen was Colleen’s biggest fear, so she always stayed friendly and acted nice. But the whale tail clip, the “accident” of sending her the wrong address to hang out, and everything with her adult content. They literally made Trish their “DUFF” that’s exactly what they thought of her. And the fact that most likely Shane and maybe even jeffree knew and acted like a friend to her face when they did. If EYE was Trish I would have been on that floor of my kitchen crying and ranting. Minute detail in an ocean of awful things, but stage makeup doesn’t just come off with a makeup remover wipe. If it is stage makeup, of course, and if she really had something before, but… if so it’s almost impossible to remove quickly. That being said, this Colleen woman should really be under investigation. And Trisha definitely is owed an apology - and maybe taking on a bit of an introspective process, since she seems to always be looking for friendship and approval in the oddest circles. These people may not stink from afar, but I can’t believe their toxic behaviours and opinions aren’t noticeable after a bit of interaction.

Colleen's situation came as a shock to me as normally i dont keep up with KZfaqrs but knew of her existence by name (even Trisha as well) and thought she is washed up old og youtuber thats it, but didnt know the other things she had done that were problematic. Colleen's behaviour, actions and words truly disgusted me and embarrassing especially that she is the same age as me, 2 months younger than me. I dont know Trishas past issues with the internet so i can't comment but in this video i can truly see she was shaken, hurt and honestly feel sad for her. Sending n*des to for exploitation and to minors is wrong in many levels. Colleen really thought she wouldn't be dragged but holy hell she wont get away with this

I can’t imagine how it must feel that your perfectly fine adult-aimed photos were essentially weaponized to inappropriately sexually target minors. Like, without your knowledge you’ve been used in and become a part of a sex crime against minors. I don’t hear people talking much about that but it’s really worth being said. Then add in the body-shaming and straight up behind her back bullying instigated by a friend and I literally can’t imagine how Trisha is dealing with this. I don’t condone a lot of her actions in the past but no one deserves that. I’ve had an extremely minor version of part of this happen- friends talking about me and I overheard them- and when I say it deeply affected how my anxiety manifests itself, I mean it. Stuff like this can really mess with you and this is such an extreme situation I really truly don’t know how Trisha is doing it and I sincerely hope she’s able to figure out healthy ways of getting past it

Also while it it messed up what Colleen did to Trisha and Trisha is rightfully upset I still have to side eye Trisha because again she only spoke out when she was personally effected. Like where was Trisha when Adam, Johnny, Becky, & Ella came forward with their stories?! Also didn’t Trisha once share/retweeted revenge p0rn of Erin Gilfoy on Twitter. Trisha has the right to be upset because I know she feels betrayed but at the same time the pattern repeats of her only speaking out about something bad when she’s personally effected.
