She's not incapable of realising/admiting. She said it herself, "this is why he doesn't drink". It was a significant slip up on his part that could have had real consequences, but why laugh at them because someone with an addiction made a mistake? The words "doesn't drink" implies he had been alcohol free for a while (though I cant confirm this). Does a slip up mean everyone (including his wife) must condemn him? I dunno, I just think everyone is being so harsh and judgemental while pretending two tiktoks tell them the entire story. When did we all get so harsh and critical with no empathy?
@tinotendachiromo9156
@tinotendachiromo9156 8 ай бұрын
@@jimjam8571 would you be saying the same thing if had taken his keys with him and gotten in accident where he hurt someone? obviously it’s a mistake but they have consequences and consequence of this mistake he’s made could’ve led to someone coming back and hurting him and his family. while it can be excessive if it takes a bit internet bullying for them to not share their location, security system and get help for the drinking problem i think it’s better than the alternative because they could very well already have a stalker

Honestly, if she's going to keep a fully stocked bar in her house when he clearly has a drinking problem, not focus on getting the strange man out of her house before dealing with her husband, rant about how people perceive what she shares and try to gaslight her followers, and THEN shares her entire system like a blueprint... then she doesn't deserve the followers and in my opinion, it's survival of the fittest.

At 33 I really don't think it's that bad to jump straight to divorce, at this age you really know what you want and you realize how useless men can be, and I'm not here to fix someone. I'm here to be in a relationship with a capable adult.

Agreed 100% In my opinion, society is too judgmental when it comes to divorce. It's much better to admit you made a mistake and end a marriage than to 'stick it out' out of a combination of shame and sunk cost fallacy. This is one of the reasons I believe marriage licenses should have to be renewed every five years like drivers licenses do.

It's so weird. Unless you are not living together until marriage or similar, it shouldn't fundamentally change anything about your relationship. If it does that's a red flag. It's a very strange argument.
@Lilkorokbb

I would say that… marriage is a lot different than just being with someone long term. It DOESNT really change anything, BUT.. there’s more of a partnership. Divorce is expensive and lengthy, well, can be. And with the way she describes him, I’m sure he would make it hell for her. There’s a lot of married couples that see this type of shit as just ~ married issues ~ but only because they know others who also go through what they’re going through. So it all just becomes normalized. When reality this isn’t normal at all.
@TheDolphace
@TheDolphace 8 ай бұрын
@@Lilkorokbb why does a piece of paper make it more of a partnership? If you've been living with your partner already absolutely nothing should change apart from legal stuff. For example my parents got married for tax purposes after 30 years together. What do you think changed for them?
@SjofnBM1989
@SjofnBM1989 8 ай бұрын
@TheDolphace yeah I've been with my husband for over a decade, we've been married for 2 years and being married didn't change our relationship. I think marriage only changes things when someone in the relationship is toxic because they go "I can act like a shitbag now because it's harder for them to leave me so they'll put up with it."
@Lilkorokbb
@Lilkorokbb 8 ай бұрын
@@TheDolphace you won’t get it until you do get married. I used to think the same way, but it does bring you closer. If that’s your parents experience, that’s fine. But I’m going based on my own. As I’m sure others will have different experiences too. In this specific case though, she’s using his behavior as a “normal” for marriage problems, when it’s not normal.

Mostly only if you eat it in high amounts but there is basically no way to ethically test the effects on infants so no one really knows how much alcohol/sushi/coffee etc. you can eat so doctors say to not eat any to eliminate any risk but small amounts of stuff it mostly fine as far as we know (there is a lot more research on alcohol tho, u should probably not drink or do drugs ofc)

That’s not what a typical rock bottom looks like though. Rock bottom is usually losing everything kind of thing. Lost your job, your kids, your family, living in a hotel or homeless now and going through withdrawals cause you can’t afford your fix. But to be fair, it can be different for some people. Just he didn’t actually lose anything. He didn’t lose his wife for even a short period of time. He didn’t get robbed. He didn’t lose money, some priceless heirloom, etc. He got away with it. So he may be freaked out now but I expected he’ll mess up again because that wasn’t rock bottom at least not as rock bottom as it takes for most addicts before they get sober. I’m saying this as an addict who’s seen friend’s fall further than that and stay sick. I fell further than that before I got clean.

Her using the excuse of “Oh my husband has never lived in another city he doesn’t know any better 🥺” is so baffling because Charlotte is the biggest city in NC (and has about 8x the population of Charleston) and has a reputation for having some really sketchy areas. Like, he’s not some sheltered guy from a small town moving to the big city.

It seems like she doesn’t want to be married anymore but is incapable of making that choice. She’s posting this stuff to get validation for what she’s going through. But she’s still pretending to be fully in it because she doesn’t know what else to do

This sounds like a woman who hates her husband and is "punishing" him by telling on him to all these people. She says all the things hes doing wrong and but then making it sound like its not a big deal and then getting upset when people suggest the obvious thing she should do. Some part of me says she does it for attention from the internet.

She then posted a tiktok saying exactly where her new job is. Exact location and schedule for her first two shifts so fans could meet her. I genuinely thought it was satire at first. Like her making fun of herself a bit. BUT NO she was fully serious. What is wrong with her 😭😭

I kind of feel bad for her. Shes so deep in denial. She needs to open her eyes and force her husband to get treatment, or leave for her and her child's safety

My first husband was so drunk when I went into labor with our first child (on her due date, no less) that I had to call my parents to drive me to the hospital. I was in labor for 12 hours and he finally showed up right as I started pushing. My dad was there holding my hands and coaching me through the breathing instead of my husband (he was passed out on the chair next to my hospital bed at that point). I was naive enough to give him 2 more children before I finally left him. Now we are 40 and he hasn’t even made contact with the kids for years even though we all still live in the same town (I work for an attorney and see his name pop up on the criminal court dockets every so often). You would’ve catch me slipping and making excuses for him, but I may have done so for about 7 years when I was in my 20’s.

Yeah when I went into labor I didn't know what to really expect either I was 32 and never been pregnant in my life didn't think I was going to have children. It was the most excruciating back pain I had ever had in my life I thought my back was ripping apart and said something's wrong take me to the hospital and when I got there they were like yeah you're in labor but my water never broke

The problem is the drinking cause yes maybe he learned don’t bring home strangers but he has a drinking problem and regardless of when he uses that crutch he can’t control himself and they have a child and I can tell you that “let’s go play with the baby at 3 am” is going to eventually be a lesson and that is the real problem. I’m not saying they need to get divorced but I am saying one being married to a bartender is not going to help his sobriety and two they clearly need to be separated because she is enabling his behavior and that can’t happen if he is serious about getting help and making sure this never happens again

Wild to me she thinks the problem stems from him bringing someone home and not his drinking that got him there (oh wait, he “doesn’t drink”…). It’s great that he “knows” not to do that, but what about when he gets too drunk to remember? Or does some other dangerous thing? Feels so strange to even be commenting about a stranger’s life like this though!

10:23 Straw testing is a huge part of any bartending job, lots of pregnant people do it; uninformed people need to chill. The alcohol content you get throughout the night is about the same as using mouth wash. I think I remember you talking about this before and it making me mad back then lol

Imo if you really loved your husband you would get rid of all of the alcohol in the house and urge him to go to rehab.

THIS. My best friend is recovering and her ex was an enabler. He kept drinks for “himself” but she had full access to them. I made her leave him. She kicked him out and within a month she went from 6-7 drinks a day to ~10 drinks a week. She still walks herself to the gas station occasionally and gets drinks, but she drinks a hell of a lot less than she used to. I’ve emptied her fridge multiple times. Enablers do not love the alcoholic.

Wait so shes a bartender that doesn't necessarily need to bar tend. She has a fully stocked bar at home. Her husband is a function alcoholic/binge drinker. She actually is a pretty shitty wife coz if she truly cared and respected him she wouldn't have alcohol in the house and wouldn't be dogging him on the Internet.

Recovering alcoholic here, saying "I'm not an alcoholic, I just can't stop myself from drinking more if I have even 1 drink" is you being an alcoholic. If that's how you think you do not have a healthy relationship with that substance. I thought it was normal and there was a difference too.
