@@456puffMy hair is naturally curly so I wouldn’t know (I was also a kid so I wouldn’t be doing this during that time regardless), but if you want to get lasting results from a curling iron, you never straighten your hair before using the curling iron, or else the curls won’t last.

My hair literally doesn't curl. Tried a perm. Nothing. Got another a week later to "fix it." This gave me a slight wave. Curling iron or curl pins? 20 minutes max with HEAVY product. And, of course this hair has NO volume. So jealous of curly or even wavy haired ppl.

My husband LOVES unbrushed curls. I think they are so tacky. I used to be a waitress at a bar and when he met me, I always had unbrushed curls. Only reason being that my curls would slowly begin to fall after a few hours. I don’t know if it was because my hair was too long (it reached the top of my crack when it wasn’t curled), or from the humidity. Probably both. So I would curl it and set with hairspray. They would last all night, even after tossing in turning in bed, and through next morning’s 90 min cardio session. When he sees me reaching for my brush now after curling, he asks me not to comb it. He says he loves it like that and that my hair was the first thing that made him notice me. Every once in a while, I won’t brush them out after styling. But I die a little inside 😅
