This is very inspiring. I think the collision detection can be used in a lot of scenarios.

Good job! Note to others if you have troubles in the Collision container is easy to mix up two selects!

thank you, very useful for getting the idea of vector computation in touchdesigner!

Only watched the first 42 seconds to see if I want to keep it around for later. I totally want to keep it around for later. Looking forward to playing with this and expect I'll learn a ton. Thanks.

Hey paketa, nice tutorial - as always! :) Do you think it would be possible that all elements in the scene have collision detection? And do you have an idea to setup something like this but with different shapes?

Well I got through it. Thanks! The RGB math is over my head, going to have to do some more learning there. I saw you have a tutorial so ill check that out.

this achieves 60fps performance with count 1024 on my 7 year old macbook pro... thank you!!

That‘s great!If multiple circles are used instead of a mouse, how can I change the input value of constant's rg?
@guillermomartinviana93903 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Aurelian! Amazing methods as usually. One quick question, it seems that the input order for the MultiplyTOPs inside CollisionBASE is important, and plugging in the operators in a different order makes the whole thing not work. If we are performing a multiplication, shouldn't it be irrelevant the input order? A bit confused here D: Thank you once again!

Thank you,Cool, I want to ask an interesting question, how can I make the circle where the mouse passes back,like feedback
@bolekz4 жыл бұрын
as always, amazing! one funny thing though, and really trippy, if you set the count to 443290 or above the final output starts zooming in. it's a nice feature but no idea why. any ideas?

good afternoon when I place the geometry and I want to activate the circle in instancing does not activate the almost? what should I do?

Hi there! Thank you for this tutorial. I have followed it step by step however, my circles seem to be following my cursor instead of being 'pushed' any idea what I can look into?
@paketa122 жыл бұрын
multiply with -1 ...that would flip the direction of the vectors

I cant seem to instance right from texture like explained at 11:30. Error says feature is not available for my operating system. Is this a common problem with Mac OS? ( I have Macbook Pro)

are you using the experimental version of Touchdesigner!?

wenn I use panel my insideu insidev values stay at 0. They aren't changing with the mouse position
@paketa124 жыл бұрын
make sure your panel view takes the right container (or base) also the panel chop is referenced right. View the entire panel chop and there has to be others channels that change values like rollu and rollv.

@@paketa12 ok perfect. that worked out. Where do you get the color element on the down left? to color the feedback
@paketa124 жыл бұрын
press 'C' from color :)

can this be used for circle packing?
@paketa123 жыл бұрын
that's for sure ...I used the same approach for 3D spheres packing
