Brilliant idea, thank you. Hand sanitiser is great for cleaning dried acrylic paint on brushes.

I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. There are a lot of variables like your printer, ink, transparency film. Unfortunately, I can only show what works for me. Let me know if I can help. 😍

@@MixedMediaArtByTrinaHi Trina, I think I know what went wrong. I took a transparant sheet which I bought, but I had to make an inkjet sheet from my printer. Absolute not a oerfect print on paper, but it worden, thanks!

I use Rives BFK printmaking paper.

Trying to do transfers...does it absolutely have to be cotton paper? Also...will laser printer work?

I use cotton paper but you can try it with other paper. It does not work with laser printed photos.

What kind of paper are you transferring to? I used watercolor paper, but I think it's too textured. I've lost too much detail in the photo.

Yeah, it doesn’t work well with textured watercolor paper. For this one I used Arches cold pressed watercolor paper. It’s relatively smooth and absorbs the sanitizer for a good release. You could also use a printmaking paper. Hope that helps!😍

Sure! I use Weliu transparency film from Amazon. You need to saturate the paper, preferably a cotton or printmaking paper, with hand sanitizer then place the transparency film and rub the back. Here’s the link to the film. amzn.to/3zcOagt
