The latest video in my series about the Hydrology of the Colorado River, showing off why we must preserve this beautiful, useful, and important river in the Western United States.
However the weather deciding to play tricks during this weekend in late September. Covering a megadrought while being absolutely soaked with heavy rain and fast water!

My lady and I do this stretch nearly every evening on SUP's. It's a whole different experience without wind and rain. Utah beer is better than filtered water FYI for your next trip. The rains last summer brought down huge amount of silt from the Glenwood canyon fires ruining the glorious sandy beaches. I hope you come give it another try this summer with better conditions. However big water is another story altogether.

I've been out Kayaking here in Florida during thunderstorms, motivates you to paddle a bit faster lol. I'd like to make it out there at some point to Kayak portions of the Colorado River, If its even possible in a couple years, such a sad story. Always love your vids man, congrats on 10K, hope to see you out on the plains soon.

I've been out plenty and have lots of plains content to share! Ironically I've been chasing so much my pace of putting out videos has been affected. The Colorado definitely should be a bucket list item for every paddler. And thank you!

Hey guys really enjoyed watching your video. I hzve been kayaking for many years in a enclosed kayak with rudder. I do both open water or ocean to river kayaking. Unfortunately herd in Australia we do not have enough rivers systems unlike the Northern hemisphere. Anyway cheers thanks for insight into ongoing climate problems.

Yeah Utah haha! Yep we have been in extreme drought for awhile now. I’m new to the channel, you’ve got some great content! As a fellow storm chaser, I’m curious if you have used the Sony A7siii to capture slow mo lightning at 120fps or 240fps? Thinking of renting that camera for my upcoming “chasecation” haha and was wondering how it performed?

I’m not familiar with that landmark! It was all before arches. Or up stream from there. The intent was to go all the way to town but we only made it about half way.

Spencer said it was pretty warm. I only ever had my hands in it or got splashed. I’d guess upper 60s?

As a whole, generations included maybe our bureaucrats do, but nobody I know chose this even in ignorance. But who are you to say what we deserve it? It wasn't my choice to divert water for exponential growth.
