I don’t know why I never thought to check your site for prisma hex chart, especially when I know how much you enjoy using your prismas still. Thank you for taking the time to create these for us, I appreciate it very much!!

YES YES YES!!! You have no idea how many times I've thought "I really wish we had a hex chart for pencils" since I don't use copics. You are my hero!!! Thank you!!! (I have a basic 12 pc set of the Luminance. I haven't played with them much because I don't want to use them up [and there aren't any duo colors for blending] -- but I had to try them. And yes, I do like the blending pencil.)

I can't believe I haven't thought about making labels for my cases before seeing yours Sandy. Thank you so much for putting together a template it will save me a heck of a lot of time using yours instead of trying to put one together myself. I will be looking at the colour pencil class too as I love colouring with my Prismacolour pencils. :O)

I have been using an alcohol blending pen for a few years and get great results...right now I’m using Tim Holtz’s which hold a lot of blending solution.

This is such a great idea to make tags for all of your cases to keep it easy. Unfortunately, I only have Prismacolours left over from when my kids were in school and they are the cheap ones. (Not hard to keep those straight! LOL) I am light years away from taking such a class, which is unfortunate, but I still enjoy watching you work. TFS!

two ?s 1. how does that blending pencil you were talking about compare to the prisma color blending pencil? and 2. have you ever tried the adhesive un-du stuff? i seen Kristina Warner use it on a card she had put together askew and it took it right apart and did not effect the paper or the coloring medium she had used, i was sold right then. so i ordered some since i can never stick things down right. and this stuff is wonderful! omg does it work. you can't use it on water based liquid glues but anything else your good. it dries in a snap and leaves no residue and does not wet things like watercolor or distress inks. it is the most incredible stuff ever made. anyone that makes a lot of cards or uses more expensive mediums, this is a must have! project saver! the bottle i got had a defective cap that i couldn't hardly get open, so i called them and they were the nicest people. they not only told me the trick to open the bottle but also sent me another full bottle in the new container they started using, with overnight shipping. one of the best customer service experiences i have ever had in fact. i have used it on very many cards and removed some decals off of the hubby's harley and truck plus some other things around the house that had adhesive residue from price tags, stickers and whatnot. i am just over halfway through the 1st bottle. i find myself using it outside of the craft room petty often.i am sorry this is so long, i just feel bad when i see someone that could maybe use it and may not have heard of it. since i have found out about the stuff it has been pretty dang handy! (and saved many projects)

I realize 2 things before I say what I’m wishing…….1)you are an incredibly busy woman so you can’t, and 2)the size of the hexes would be soooooo small that their numbers wouldn’t fit, BUT oh how I wish for a full 150 hex chart for Prismacolor. Other swatch charts don’t put numbers and colors together. Your’s have me spoiled!!😉

I did something similar with my prismacolor pencils (inspired by your copic chart) I wonder how they compare :D I know how much work it was for me so I'm sure it was intense for you to do it (probably) more precise! thanks for all you continue to do and share!!

I don’t do ones for watercolor mediums since they’d have to print on watercolor paper. Toner and thick paper aren’t compatible. Sorry.

I have your hex chart for my comics and love it. Would you happen to have one for Tombow Markers? I haven’t looked around for one but thought I would ask.
@SandyAllnock16 жыл бұрын
Anything water based can’t be printed on watercolor paper nor in waterproof ink so no they won’t be made.
@margaretschmidt74516 жыл бұрын
Sandy Allnock Thank you. I did find a color wheel of Tombow marker colors and printed that out. It works ok but I just love your hex charts. :)

Okay... What happens if you only have watercolor pencils? I have all my colored pencils away because I knew nothing about, or no one told me about gamsol. I cannot afford a complete set of colored pencils but which one would you start with so I can build on the quantity?
@SandyAllnock16 жыл бұрын
You don’t need a complete set to get started. Prismacolor are awesome and not pricey.

It’s kind of unfortunate that you have to buy the hex charts instead of printing them off yourself. But it’s for copyright reasons so I guess there’s no harm in actually buying it.
