Indeed this was unintentional and it has now been fixed. PhilWeeks just posted on the E:D forums: 50 minutes ago: "We have encountered some issues with the Thargoid War mechanics, corrections have now been deployed and should be working as intended once more. We are currently working on correcting system scores." Just now: "A system score correction has now been applied for systems related to several Titans using information taken during the 18.04 update. However, we have also applied compensation to a number of systems to capture as much player progress as possible since the release of 18.04."

@@garethde-witt6433It’s what could be defined as a glass cannon. Yes, not the best tank, but still fast and agile. I’m sure it can wreck havoc in capable hands (but yeah mostly for pvp and even generic pve, for ax there are still better alternatives imo)

@@orderoftwelve I wonder why anybody would expect it to surpass any other ship in every way just because it's new. Considering the hardpoints you can't have it all. Still need to maneuver it, and the agility allows it. A surprising turn of events, I havent even been looking at AX progress, busy messing with these SCO drives. Is this meant to promote sales of the new Python2 with the smooth SCO? Im still not paying a fiver for it, Ill jiggle around in my Krait mk2 instead.

I have the answer! This valiant federal fleet purchased a large batch of the latest Piton MK2 ships from Faulcon-de-Lacy and pre-engineered Alliance Chieftain. The Thargoids flee their controlled star systems. They understand that they have already lost! The Titans will soon explode in horror! :-D

What if FDEV put in code to clear up systems where the Titans were destroyed to get rid of the old control systems around Leigong for example, but in this code they made a little error and now they clear systems around alive Titans instead of dead titans.

could be that they made a mistake at first where the progress was not as effective as they had planned OR... their arms are up in the air when they look at the current players fighting at spires and the amount of credits they are raking in, so they "nerf" titan progres as in we go a lot faster, meaning it wont take that long and the players would not be able to keep printing credits as they are now... (altthough i highly doubt this as they would have nerfed the amount of credits per kill a ling time ago) either way, first thing that im going to do on thursday is hand in all my bonds, ill be hitting rank 5 with avigny duval and got a sweet amount of credits lined up i never dreamed nor imagined to be able to gather. little fun fact, me and a friend were laughing so hard a couple of hours ago when i told him: " remember we were shearing screenshots last year of us mining for void opal, platinum, and the then staggering amount of 180M income wich was huge for us back then?" he then replied: "yeah, compared to this thats peanuts now, im never going to mine again EVER" lmao. thanks for the update man.

after you get to 10 billion or so credits you are set for life, additions to that are redundant, as there is really nothing you can buy with your surplus other than more ships (and the one FC)... I am almost to 60B, but Big Whoop, all dressed up with nowhere to go...

@@padlnjones i get where you are comming from mate, having that amount of cash just takes away something in the game youre chasing for. its like playing a single player game, where you need to have certain goods to progress towards certain goals. thing is, once you use a cheat code or cheat engine to take away one hurdle just to get a bit closer to that goal, or just take them all away, there is not really a reason to keep playing the game after that, as when other goals come up, its more likely to happen youll cheat in those steps aswell, making it so you bought a game, you cheat in it, no more goals, game not worth playing anymore. i used to do that alot to myself years ago, then wondering why that game was so dull/ easy... heh... these days, no matter how hard a game is, i refrain from using cheats and codes. might aswell give devs my money and never play the game right?

@@fartex1 i never heard of (or looked for) cheat codes for ED... I DO self-destruct when I am out of bullets so I get reborn with full racks of premium ammo (shard cannons)... I just love flying the different ships around... o7!

@@padlnjones ah i knew you would get me wrong on this, and instead of saying you, i should have said people of course. i never intended saying that you personally cheated, lol what i meant about the cheating thing is, that once people use cheats and such, they actually take away a part of the reason to play a certain game, out of the game. like i said, i had it happened to me a couple of times, cheated in items in single player games, wich resulted in myself just giving up on the game as the fun was just not there and the main reason to actually play that same game, wel, i took it out because of cheating. either way, so now im not kind of really looking forward to hand in the combat bonds, because of what you stated... sitting on a pile of credits and having no use for it :/

I've been playing this game for years. I have searched on inara and different discords but I can't seem to find people to play with. I need a community to help me learn how to get into this content it sounds fun but I don't want to do it alone. Let me know if anyone wants another wingman or if you guys have an active community I can join that likes to help returning players.

The Milky Way is big, but there is a lot of convergence around new Galnet bulletins. Currently taking back attacked systems has the most CMDRS. If a human passes through the system you are in, you can add them as a friend.

Have they done rollbacks before? Would that affect all accounts; or just those involved in AX operations?

They have rolled back systems to controlled state yes. It hasn't affected accounts besides that. Just don't waste your samples if you have any stored.

A custom-built sidewinder or viper is the key to diving into the content. Your first step is mastering survival tactics. Once you've got that down, focus on maximizing your damage output (DPS). You don't need massive ships to dive into the Thargoid War. There's a wealth of guides available, along with some slick AXI flashcards revealing Thargoid military secrets for a comprehensive briefing.

@orderoftwelve So awesome, thank you, brother. I've actually been practicing with flight assist off, and I have no idea how yall beast can do it, lol. I've kinda got the hang of it, but not the best in combat. I'm in a mk2 krait at the moment. Just yesterday, I got g5 thruster dirty, drag fully engineered, and it took me forever just to do that. I wish I could post the specs from the edsy ax build I have. I'm a little over 500 hours, and I am still so lost. Like so lost.

@@wilfredjurassicyes yeah. make a small ship and get its boost speed over 630. Dont worry about anything except 'boost engineered' power distributor, grab the size 3 enhanced thrusters for Palins shop and get as much engineering on the thrusters as you can. Don't worry about shield or hull, as you need to learn how not to be hit by attacks first, without staying cold. A turreted thruster with long range thermal vent experimental will be the third thing you will add.

@@orderoftwelve Ok, awesome, so put the krait up and take the sidewinder and learn to walk before I run, so to speak. I can definitely do this. I still have plenty of mats to get this done. I was only able to top out at 530 ish with grade 5 on my krait, I thought that was wayyyy too low. I went charged with the power last time, and that might be my mistake there. But sweet ok I will definitely do this today. Cold orbit is so sick. It's just really hard to guess how to do that. Today is the day.

@@Astyrrean I hope this get rectified. I've only just got into AX combat a month ago, and Oya was my first for Titan bombing. If it's over in a couple of weeks, that will be a big disappointment. And Once the titans are dead, so are the spire sites.

Sorry about the translation, but I thought it sounded amazing. I don't get it. What's the big deal? I always wrote that we don't know all the formulas and the jump came after the introduction of guardian weapons. Why are we sure that the damage is seen clearly in the game? For example, how can I see the total defense of modules in the game? A lot of things are hidden from us. Plus the massacre at Cormack Beacon, I think only a lazy person has not completed a few dozen missions there.
