the funny thing is you can see when they do the close up on the bracelet that the screen is printed -and isn't cut well -probably just paper or something else still its a cunning plan mostly because it does put the police department in a position where they can't search again. though if he had been more cleaver he would have taken the beeper offer her or removed the batteries, and instead of using the suit bag he should have prepared something else to seal her in. but like a lot of killers he used what was around not thinking someone might notice

Not to mention the music also, its just like 'the psychic' theme, its got that creepy kind of tone to it and then the horrifying realization that shes in the dang wall and you just see her corpse there wrapped in the plastic. Its probably one of the more horrific and dark ones for sure

I grew up in the 90's. When I saw this room, the 4 post bed, the color scheme, furniture, even the lights on the mirror. It's a time capsule of 90's interior design. Obviously this is a mansion and surrounded by money so the implication is that every choice was intentional and very much in keeping with the style of the time. The way the killer is dressed, his hair, all of it. And 1970's Columbo is just wandering around and doing his thing :) This show is nostalgic for me in so many ways. But 2 years ago I got Columbo on DVD and swiftly rewatched all of it. When we got here it was just another warm feeling. I love this show. And I love seeing how many others still do. Also the addition of Hector Salamanca was icing on the cake.

For those that don't know, this is from 'Columbo Cries Wolf', which is one of my all time favorite Columbo episodes. The episode has the distinction of being one of the few episodes in the series where Columbo shows up before the murder takes place, even moreso because the murder doesn't happen until the last act.

Up there among my favorite episodes as well. Another odd one that's one of my favorites is "Forgotten Lady" -- the only episode where Columbo doesn't arrest the murderer. Such a tragic ending. I guess there are certain tropes that you expect from a Columbo episode, and every so often, they broke those tropes in clever ways.

Wool can go up to 52. Next goes R-value. This one has different frequencies blocking abilities. I suggest you to search for Thermafiber Product Data Sheet for exact numbers that are proven by studies and not some forum written by unknown authors. Strange, she's got a watch with a slip of paper with 'GOTCHA' printed on it.

"GOTCHA" written on a strip of paper?? How is that supposed to work. Is her bracelet a printer? Lol...

It is a cheap way for the production to make it look like a pager. Back then there were pagers with a small screen where small messages could be displayed. It seems the production didn't want to spend money on a real page for what was 5 seconds screen time.

@@johnking5174 Yea, I know. And that is exactly what it looks like. A cheap way to cheat and make it look like a kid stuck a sticker onto the bracelet! ;) If they were so cheap, they could have borrowed a real pager. I'm sure a company producing such pagers back then would have lend them one. Getting their brand out you know. Free commercial on their product and all that stuff...

"Columbo Cries Wolf" is Season 9, Episode 2, not Season 2, Episode 1.

There is no way this episode is from Season 2. Peter Falk looks pretty old in this.

is a General Contractor who remodels bathrooms.....this could never happen. You know how paranoid and careful we are about hitting pipes in the walls and knowing what is behind the drywall. Regardless....Columbo is da $hit
