When I moved to Columbus, from Cleveland, in 1977. I remember that Beechwold Pharmacy soda shop, and there was one in another a pharmacy at the corner of North High Street and West Hudson.

That older house display really made me miss the past. I’d live in a house furnished that way today.

I had a friend that had one of those houses up in Lima. No cell service inside, but you could hang things up with magnets.

Baby Boomers have been scooping up all those Lustron houses, there are ones all over the USA. Google them, and you will directed to a site which chronicles where every one of them, are located. Keeping them in good condition, is a struggle since the repair parts, don't exist, and have to be custom manufactured. I was so pleased The Ohio Historical Society Museum, had one erected in their exhibit space. One could explore the interior, and there was written information, and tours, with people talking about it.

I hope Fred Wittich is having the gals wear rubber gloves now to dip those chocolates! I have eaten my weight in Wittich's candy and added some weight also--lol Great place to take grandchildren.
