it's usually E. (if you haven't binded to any other button) press it and you can toss a coin if you have the slingshot out. the coin can be combo'd with your sword or paintball gun. (a setting also allows you to use right click while in first person to do alt-fires on btw)

ngl there might be some others who would do some insane challenges in combat initiation, be sure to look out for that when it happens

you can parry the attack by using the sword. if you don't have other options, keep avoiding him by dodging his attacks by dashing, moving or even jumping over some of them

idk if i'll do more videos on combat initiation, but if all 6 stages are finished perhaps i'll revisit in case i don't really intend on captalizing or going for the trendy strats since i just post random stuff without much care, mostly. that's why majority of my videos are unedited and pure raw footage, though some stuff might be trimmed out

it's apart of the slateskin potion gear. once you drink the slateskin potion, you're able to do a slam while in mid-air to end the effect early and produce a shockwave that becomes more potent the longer the air-time is. some weapons can be used alongside the slam when you do it, like superball for an example

is indeed a ultrakill i play ultrakill soo i do know and the combo is but there kinda not same not because is roblox or not i could tell everything i know but i let other who really know a lot more soo i just say that 1. the punch is the first and free is can parry is useful (maybe that what sword does) 2. normal when whatever you get s in every without reset you get a p stand for perfect but in that game is x which i cant tell or is maybe for joke that i don't know

i actually tried that loadout during one of my runs, but still think superball is fine since i pair it with slateskin gear whenever i can it's pretty much preferences when it comes to each individual player in combat initiation, maybe they'll like a certain loadout more or less

@@astaring yeah but the slingshot is a one time ricochet for one projectile, and switching back and fourth between BB and slingshot is a lot, compared to using the ball which can be shot multiple times

i think i just referred to the superball being fine but i suppose i can say some stuff about that i'm quite used to the quickswitch between slingshot to paintball/bb gun whenever i want to do a ricoshot so it doesn't really border me as that much

you never know if you do something unintended that makes for a cool moment

there's like a few ways you can avoid or mitigate the homing star attack, i'll list some that could help for other players Dashing - Dashing can give I-frames, it likely lasts within the first few frames of the Dash. If there no other options, you can always DASH to avoid the projectile's explosion when it is about to hit you, but the timing might be tight to get a hang of. Reflector - It can act similar to the Sword, but you have more leeway in terms of when to timing it thanks to being able to hold the Reflector for an indefinitely amount of time and the AoE. Just time it (or hold it before Vagabond sends out the projectile) and you can deflect it. Slateskin Potion - This isn't really a way to avoid damage, but you can tank it using the Slateskin Potion's Shield HP. Just do note that it won't be active or if you already took some hits, you might take partial damage after the Shield HP breaks. Cover - The Projectile can explode on contact, even by the environment. You can use cover to make it do nothing, but this strategy is only there if you need to survive, rather than going aggresive/stylish ways of beating Vagabond. (It's okay to resort to these kinds of stuff, especially when starting out.) these are just the few ways i know of that you can avoid the homing star attack without the sword i suppose. idk if there's others, but use these how you will

i discovered it on accident a while back but i kinda use it in stage 3 in case i wanna cause the funny explosions. it's still hard to pull off consistently though since if you're being chased by enemies it makes trying to place a timebomb for that a lot harder.

but i saw an admin of the game say that they will add mobile support in future update (i think they said in future updste but im not sure)

@@SwagChickenNuggetGod in the frequently answered questions channel in the combat initiation discord server about mobile compatibility, they specifically said that "Mobile simply doesn't work for this game." and the fact that there's multiple keybinds that you need to use during gameplay... it's likely not going to happen or even to attempt it to make it compatible for mobile players.
