I didn't understand the pointing system. How did gold got 4 points. He got only a head hit.

How is it ok to have another instructor at the same school officiate a match where someone else from that school is competing in, AND is coached by that person's husband?

Reminds me of the old pre UFC full sports tournament karate: no flow, no sustained sparring, mostly light blows that wouldn't disable an armored opponent.
