I would say your best bet for the wheel arches on the trailers would be to use a truck bed liner, that stuff dries pretty hard. It comes in black, white or you can get a clear version that you can add colour to in order to colour match it to the rest of the paintwork if your that worried about it matching. Its a 2k paint system so you'll get a tin of hardener in the kit with it and you can apply it with a brush, roller, Gravity feed spray gun with a large fluid tip or just a normal shutz gun. if you go on eBay and search for Truck bed liner it should come up. Dont buy the rattle cans though as they are not as good and you dont get much in there, the better brands are Mipa, U-pol Raptor, Novol Cobra would also be great for protecting the bed on the land rover and if your using it for this you can also get grit which you can add to the paint to give you extra grip when your walking on it

Worth taking a look at Lanoguard for the trailer wheel arches. Much easier to apply and I find I get better coverage than waxoil. Good for the defender too.

Good explanation on RTK. So the slight addition is that you have a base station that was surveyed in very accurately (sub cm). It reads the GPS and compares it’s known position to what GPS says it is (shifts due to satellite movement, atmospherics etc) and then issues a correction to the Rovers (tractors). I thought you can centre the satellite line to where you’re sitting. So even with drift you can always reset it to where you are? Used to work like that on the JD systems I worked with. They used to drift if you stopped for lunch. Switch it back on and re centre.

Does go pro still have the replacement guarantee if you break your gopro? Back in the day of the gopro hero3 I got 2 replacements as both broke going 153mph tumbling along the road

Not so much a stupid idiot as a curious idiot and, by chance, you did get the footage you wanted when it was travelling in the opposite direction. Just a pity you never gave a thought to where the wheels were going to go. It’s good to be curious. If the agronomists hadn’t been curious they wouldn’t have discovered the effectiveness of the 20% solution. Do they think they know why 20% works? It seems counter intuitive that it should work. Is there any risk of the 20% solution being harmful to the endangered upperlip caterpillar which a number of KZfaqrs have spotted in the Gloagburn area?
