Crossfader brought me here, plus I'm glad we now have wireless audio with low latency to actually DJ with, I'm an upcoming DJ from Kenya and this setup could be very useful to me for outdoor events, this is simply amazing, I love it! Congrats.

Thanks for the video. I got kind of lost with the latest soundboks software in combination with SKAA. Their instructions miss out important information like the colour of the LED, as well as the 2,5 and 30 minute timers. It got me rather frustrated for loosing connections. But now I understand. Reseted BOTH and paired again. Just tried some 3D and 8D music through. SKAA and it sounds great.

If a mic is plugged into the HUB, is that audio also transmitted to the satalites via Skaa? .. or is it just Bluetooth audio?! ⛔

Cool Tech. I do have a question though - Why is Bluetooth being utilized from the Laptop to the Hub? Why not use an Akiko Pro Transmitter? Wouldn't this set up affect not only the latency but also the audio quality as the Blutooth connection would be the weakest link? Thanks 🙏
@MusicTechHelpGuy3 жыл бұрын
SKAA Pro Transmitters support 2 receivers, with lower latency. Standard SKAA transmitters (like the hub in this example) support 4. So the networked Bluetooth allows you to have a 5th speaker, by sending audio over BT to the Hub, then over SKAA to 4 satellites. If you only had 4 speakers for example, you could use an Akiko, Ursula or Cassandra transmitter from your Laptop and send it directly over to up to 4 speakers with SKAA, bypassing Bluetooth altogether. If super low latency is what you need, then you could use Akiko Pro with 2 speakers as well.

Does the Soundboks app perform the same function as the SKAA cmd app in terms of programming the speakers? I just ordered two Soundboks speakers with a Dani transmitter, it would be a bummer if I cannot set a left-right pair just because I do not have a Diz as well...
@SKAAsound2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question! You can absolutely use the Soundboks app to set your speakers to independent left and right channels. Using this method will require you to do this each time you power up the speakers as they default to mono after a power cycle. Using a SKAAcmd capable transmitter like Diz, Ursula or Cassandra allows you to set their channels and have that setting persist through power cycles. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us directly at support@skaa.com.

Is there a way to get past 5 in pair? How do we get to 20
@vboykov2 жыл бұрын
You will have to do a wired AUX bridge between two or more of them. For example HUB1 connects wirelessly to other 4 speakers and its AUX-out goes to a HUB2's AUX-in which in turn can connect wirelessly to another 4 etc.
