Looks great! Is there any chance that you have the standard set commands for the Bluegiga WT32i that comes with the Soundboks 1 or 2? I was messing around with mine and was stupid enough to not have a backup before doing so...

Thanks! No, unfortunatelly I don't. I was just adding an additional module, rather than messing with the existing one.

This is awesome. If only I knew half of how this stuff works 😂

If not too late, buy led strip with a transformator, mine I control with an app, removed the usb power supply and wired it to x4 AA batteries, thats 6 volts, its all covered up and almost invisible. Glue/tape the led to the grill, and it will sit perfectly

Basically the same way, the sb3 is pretty similar

Hey man! thanks for this movie, its looks awesome! Im courious if it is possible to connect SP107e (5V) throught a USB cabel (5V) to average powerbank 20000mAh as a power supply. You think it is possible to work? Greetings from Austria!

Hey! Glad to hear you liked it. I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work. However, depending on the length of your strip, the current consumption might be higher than what your powerbank can provide. This might result in an unexpected behavior or even a damaged powerbank, so if you want to be safe, always calculate the worst case scenario power requirement for the strip and check whether your power source can handle it.

@@StanleyProjects you right! Thanks for an answer 😉

If you want the animation to react to the music wouldn't it be simpler to just hook up the Arduino to the wire powering the speaker itself and listen in on the current that drives the speaker coil? Wouldn't that be simpler and less noisy than listening to the actual sounds with a microphone?
@StanleyProjects4 жыл бұрын
Good thinking, but the output of the amplifier driving the speaker can have pretty large voltage variation. However, you could listen in on the audio signal that is fed to the amplifier, and that would most likely be the ideal solution.

You will burn your arduino

There is nothing wrong with the Soundboks design the design is perfect but to get the quality sound to get a deep bass you need to make it with 2,15 inch speak and a bigger battery and more power We want one box to do the job of two, the design of the box should not be change it just need to be bigger you should not need to buy five box when you can use 2,15 inch bigger speaker in one box As one of Soundboks best customer my opinion should be valued soundboks is going around in circles you have made all the box the same size and then you call that new to be new you have to step out of your comfort zone and be innovative I love the design but I need you Soundboks to go bigger if you say that you're for the out door party's then that defeat the hold object

Hey. I've just released a sound-reactive Wi-Fi module that can be used to drive all programmable LED strips. Be sure to check it out since it is a more convenient replacement for this. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/esh3ecKDlbmUdaM.html
