This was a pretty good tournament, definitely one of the best for BBTAG, not too many mirror matches, half the bracket isn’t Gordeau players, a lot of interesting teams. This is how it should have been since the beginning.

Unfortunately though they buffed Ruby and Hyde who were already good, aand overused. Lol.

@@Yukari_MAiG Well the patch is just barely hitting a week. Won't take long before its flooding with her again. People will either pair her with Hyde, or Jin (Jin flourishes without Gordeau's presence), and there will be a crap ton of Yang's (there were already plenty of them online. You can't beat her in a clash on the ground, and she got buffed on top of that). They got rid of most gimmicks, but didn't get rid of the assists punishing bursts. Bursts are still a waste of a mechanic because they're already easy to bait, and then there's such a high chance of you getting punished when you DO land a successful one, by the assist. Bursts are supposed to return both players to neutral. Verdict: The game is still shite.

I'd say Makoto has some use and the patch does help, but she does need more to compete with the recent Aki buffs, Chie and the ever nonsensically buffed Yang (who's practically Tager with Makoto's speed). However, the guy playing her didn't hit all of his combos and neglected to use any of her double super options in the corner so I'd say she still has a lot of potential to be seen.

I kinda have a Makoto/Gordeau team going and she’s definitely good. He just went up against Nine which is just absolute cancer

@@hideharu-xiii8852 I wouldnt say cancer, prior to the patch she had an insane time doing damage outside of the corner. Now she has better tools and people haven't adapted yet. Cancer to me is Wald/Hyde or hell most of the unist characters for me anyways. Anyhow, yeah Makoto ain't bad, she might need a little more but with the right timing the damage is there. The dude just had a bad matchup and little experience against the new Nine.

Over a year later and looked up this vid just to tell someone else about it. Basic story is Rino was shit talking PCTag because the port wasn't good (this is true), but also shit talking PCTag players well before this tourney. Someone challenge him to a online MM on PC and during said MM he left claiming it was 'to laggy' (which was later revealed to be his PC is made of toothpaste). RNGG called him out for doing that because what the fuck man. Cut to CB2019 where RNGG & Rino are both there (with me sitting next to RNGG!), the moment he won he looked around for us and flipped us off. The camera missed RNGG standing up & flipping him back off which was godlike. The worst bit was Karouko coming back down to sit with us and having a near heart attack because he was hella nervous about being on stage.

Probably because their not comfortable with them yet. Heart has a homing dash and naoto is pretty difficult. There's also the fact that people are probably waiting for the new tierslist for the new gorby lol

I do i play everybody in English because i don't get into the sub vs dub plus all uni characters in English for the first time Best uni English Meka carmine Worst English ruby seth(to emo even for him)

Anyone who prefers sub over dub, and don't know the original language that is being subbed over, are just bashing on dubs because it's easier for them to evaluate a language they are familiar with, and know it's bad, meanwhile the original VA's can be as bad or worse, they just can't tell.
