The cool thing about rock in the 70s was it was an amalgamation of blues, country, folk, jazz--all the roots music. And there was so much talent, for whatever reason. It was a time when artists weren't rich, but they had creative control of their music. Then corporations caught wind of the money-making potential of the music, and then came the 80s, etc. Was great while it lasted...

Not one of the limited run.. that run was based on this guitar. I’ve never seen one come up for sale used. No telling what they might bring. Love the tone of his stage Martins but would love to see him break out some of his Gibson Chet Atkins SST models every now and then from the mid 90s. Those were amazing sounds also. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gq6fn6VyrJanlZc.html

It's in Brothers and Sisters by The Allman Brothers Band 1973. Hank Williams covered it in 1979 and Greg Allman recorded the wonderful acoustic version in 1981
